George walked along the streets of Elf City, but every Elf he met stopped and bowed to him voluntarily.

The light elves of Elf City now are either those from the Canyon Battle or those from the Elf Defense War. They have all witnessed George's contributions to the war and know that without George, they might have all perished.

So in their hearts, they are very grateful and respectful towards George.

George is the only human in this era who can get Elves to bow to him as soon as they meet him.

Even among the Elves, only a prince would be granted such an honor.

After walking for a while, he arrived at the Elven Council Hall. Not long ago, when he was refining dragon crystals, some Elves had come to inform him that the three princes wanted him to come to the Council Hall for discussions.

    "I'm sorry, I'm late!"

George entered the hall, took a glance, and found that besides the three princes and Bruin Glaras and Barashil, there was also an Elf he didn't recognize.

This Elf was taller than the three princes, and George could sense that the energy contained within him might be even greater than the total of the three princes.

"No, it's not late. We haven't started yet."

George, let me introduce you to my cousin Fingon.

    Prince Finrod introduced George.

"Brave Fingon, the next Elf High King!"

George immediately understood the background of the Elf before him, a figure who was greatly renowned in the history of the Elves.

The family of Feanor burned their ships and abandoned their two younger brothers, leading their people to seek revenge on Melkor, but they were all killed. Their eldest son, Mizaelos, inherited the throne of King of Noldor.

But soon after, he was betrayed by Melkor's oath to exchange the Elven stones for the gems of the trees, and captured. He was hung from a cliff on Thangorodrim and tortured there for thirty years.

The other six brothers, constrained by Melkor's power, dared not go to rescue him.

The two groups of Elves from Fingol and Fingon, who were also the kin of Feanor, were still resentful about the fact that Feanor had burned their ships and abandoned them, and they were unwilling to intervene.

But Fingol's eldest son, Fingon, had a very close relationship with Mizaelos in Valinor, so he went alone to Angband and saved Mizaelos.

To show his gratitude for Fingon's rescue, Mizaelos, despite the objections of his six brothers, yielded the throne of King of Noldor to Fingon's father, Fingol.

Later, after Fingol was killed single-handedly against Melkor, Fingon inherited the throne of Elven High King.

After becoming the Elven High King, he unified all Elves and Men and repelled Melkor's armies multiple times. Finally, he was surrounded and killed by Morgoth with a large army of Balrogs and Orcs.

"This is the one I just mentioned, Eirion George. Without his help, our group of Elves might have only been left with Kelendros."

After introducing Fingon, Finrod introduced George again, full of gratitude.

Fingon looked at George, his eyes filled with admiration and gratitude.

"George, thank you for your help to the Noldor. We Noldor will forever remember this kindness!"

Years ago, my Uncle Feanor burned the ships, and my father Fingol took them and these cousins and siblings along with them, crossing the Northwest Glacier of Death, enduring countless hardships to reach Middle-earth.

Therefore, their two branches have a particularly good relationship, no different from that of blood siblings.

After all, they all have the same grandparents, whereas Feanor's side only has grandfathers but not grandmothers.

(Feanor and his two younger brothers were half-brothers, as their mother died shortly after Feanor's birth.)

George saved Finrod's branch, just as he would have saved a blood brother, and also helped to hold the middle line, preventing Melkor's army from making a two-pronged attack on the west.

This is a great favor to the entire Elven race.

George naturally responded in the same humble manner as before, declining to use this favor to seek the Elven magic.

Because he had a better idea.

Thus, after some polite exchanges, the group sat around the table to discuss the next situation.

George only listened, not jumping up to speak at length. He was not a military strategist; he only helped the Elves gain some advantages in the previous wars because he knew some historical plots.

Now, because of his intervention, the entire course of history has already changed, and his experiences are naturally no longer useful.

About two hours later, they finally came up with a rough conclusion.

Firstly, they didn't intend to gather troops to support the east.

The eastern front has collapsed entirely. Melkor's army has entered the middle continent. The six princes have retreated southward, and the elder prince can only defend the castle. Concentrating their forces there would be futile.

If the front line hasn't collapsed, they can go there to counterattack and drive back the enemy. The seven sons of Feanor could continue to defend there, but if they were to go now, they would only be surrounded by dark armies from Angband and the middle continent.

The key is that if we were to take advantage of their support in the east, and Melkor sent another large army to attack the west and middle continent, it would be even worse.

Secondly, they plan to reinforce the defenses in the middle and western regions to prevent Melkor from launching another offensive.

Fingol plans to return and mobilize all the Elves to come to the city of his two and three brothers for assistance in defending it, and Bruin Glaras and Barashil plan to find scattered humans throughout the region and bring them to live in Elf City.

In the first age, humans appeared in the easternmost region of Middle-earth, among which three human tribes chose to explore and migrate westward. The Beor family was just one of them.

The other two tribes were the Haladin family and the Malkareth family. These two families had significantly more people than the Beor family.

Although the three families were scattered in different places, they always maintained contact.

This way, the troops on the middle continent are sufficient to establish a solid defense line. Even if Melkor gathers the remaining troops from the west and middle continent to attack together, they can hold on.

As for the Canyon, Fingon plans to visit the hidden kingdom of Gondolin, established by his brother Turin near the Canyon, and request a large army of Gondolin's Elves to defend.

His brother Turin was very fond of travel. During a journey along the Great River of the setting sun, he received a revelation from the Sea-god Uinen in his dreams and established Gondolin in a very hidden place near the Canyon.

It's not known if the Elves of Gondolin were blessed by the Sea-god, but their population had grown to rival that of their father's kingdom in just a few hundred years.

With the number of Gondolin's troops, it would be enough to hold that part of the canyon.

With the strongest Fingol watching over the west, it is even safer.

Finally, regarding the forces led by the Balrog of Morgoth that were rampaging across the heart of Middle-earth, Finrod said he would go to the Grey Elf Kingdom himself to request Aengus to clean up.

Why is Finrod able to persuade Aengus?

That's because the branch they belong to is actually related to Aengus.
