You can continue to trust me, Chang'an will never pad the content because of the so-called update pressure.

The late release is not because Chang'an wrote under the pressure of updates. It's because he writes late.
Here's another piece of evidence: Chang'an's updated chapters are rarely of whole numbers, they often consist of a few hundred extra words.
