Greetings, esteemed readers.
The book "Three Kingdoms: I Am Not Cao Rui" released its first chapter on June 24th and was listed for sale on August 7th.
It is 1:00 AM on November 1st. So far, four months have passed since now.
As a first-time author, I have persisted thus far, approaching the interaction with my fellow book enthusiasts with a mix of awe and trepidation.
I'm just a green recruit, but my fellow readers are all hidden dragons.
There are big shots in the review area who analyze plots, correct shortcomings, and even help me proofread typos at the very beginning.
Many of my fellow readers have seen more historical online novels than I have. Your reviews and guidance are incredibly valuable interactions.
Thank you!
At the same time, the support of my fellow readers serves as the driving force to keep this book going.
Some of my fellow readers are committed fans who vote for the recommendation every day after reading a chapter. There are also dedicated individuals who throw their monthly tickets my way each month without fanfare. Some interact daily at the end of each chapter, while others remain steadfast, consistently giving three recommendation votes daily;
Writing 6,000 words every day, without taking a single day off or missing an update, has been a significant challenge for me as a part-time author, testing my stamina, mental state, and family arrangements.
It's because of your support that I have been able to keep writing without getting discouraged.
Let's talk about the plot.
The first volume is driven by war, and it tells the story of Cao Rui, after ascending the throne and becoming the emperor, gradually gaining power from a position of nominal authority through personnel deployment and organizing wars.
Volume II focuses on consolidating power. It covers arrangements after the war against Wu in Yan City, dealing with the imperial family and the harem, establishing laws and regulations, observing officials through the Reforming Palace, and dismissing a group of young scholars through the Fenghua Case. This also serves as a means to stir competition among courtiers.
I've taken your feedback seriously.
The main negative feedback centers on three points: 1. Too much dialogue and background, making the writing uninteresting. 2. The plot lacks tightness. 3. There are too few battle scenes.
First-time writing a book, there are some parts where the text is not handled well. I apologize to everyone here! ( bows )
The solutions are as follows: 1. I will work hard to improve my writing skills and theoretical foundation in online novels. 2. I will use conflicts and emotions to drive the plot and try to make it tighter. 3. The following chapters will parallel domestic affairs and war, increasing the interest factor.
The story of Volume III, which you've just seen in the first chapter of Volume III, is as follows.
With Zhuge Liang's first campaign in the Yong and Liang regions, how will Cao Rui respond? What changes will there be in the overall situation of the world, as well as in domestic and foreign policies?
Volume III is about to be launched, which will be more exciting. Thank you for your support from my fellow readers!
Thank you to the generous benefactors who have donated since the book's release:
