Hello everyone, I am Yizhen.
Thank you, esteemed readers, for reaching this point. Tomorrow, the book will be launched, so I would like to take this opportunity to discuss and answer some questions, as well as report to everyone on the follow-up situation regarding the book.
I am indeed writing my first online novel.
I remember it was towards the end of June when I happened to read Cao Pi's "Wei Emperor's Complete Poetry," specifically "Qiang Shang Shu Xing" ("On the Great Wall"). The line "Life is always too brief for joy, and years slip by, as if on swift wings" profoundly moved me.
"Years pass, they fly by," from the Han to the Wei to the Jin dynasties, how many interesting stories could unfold? And how many regrets could be made up for? So I wrote the first chapter from the perspective of Cao Rui, the son of Cao Pi, and eagerly posted it on Qidian.
Thank you, the editor of the ninth group, Dazailai Dage, for signing my book and providing much guidance on my writing.
As you can see, the story has begun.
Up until now, this book has been written for a full one and a half months.
From the writing perspective, my first creation always encounters various problems. My writing ability is limited and my experience is insufficient. For example, when I write up to the fiftyth and sixtyth chapters, I find numerous problems in the first twenty chapters, so I have to go back and revise again. There are also many book friends who pointed out the problems in my writing. Some of the issues I found in the comment section were indeed correct, so I went back to correct them. Of course, now there are also quite a few comments on the book review section. If you can't keep up with it, please forgive me.
From the emotional aspect, I have always been a reader, and I have always read books. Now that I am starting my first writing, seeing book friends criticize or curse me makes me feel quite uncomfortable, and it takes some time to calm down and start writing again after a while. When I see book friends seriously discussing the plot or giving this book some tickets, I feel encouraged again, grateful, and it increases my confidence to continue creating.
The above is the content of the chat, and below is the report to readers on several issues of concern in the book review area.
Question: What is the plan for the future updates of this book?
Answer: After launching, there will be 6000 words per day, and the update will be at 22:00 every evening. Since I am not a professional writer, I have to work during the day and only have time to write in the evening. At present, there is little accumulated stock. In addition, it is my first time to write online novels, and I often fail to write even one thousand words per hour. In the future, Yizhen will work hard to improve speed and hopes to write faster.
Question: How do you deal with the enemy country?
Answer: This novel is written from the perspective of Cao Wei, but it respects both the Shu Han and the Wu, and will not force the enemy to become foolish. Instead, it aims to create some exciting plot twists. The overall storyline naturally aims to achieve reunification as soon as possible.
Question: Will there be a harem?
Answer: To be honest, Yizhen is not good at writing romantic scenes, and the two concubines at the beginning have also attracted some criticism. In the future, I won't spend too much time on the palace scenes. I will add some concubines to the protagonist's harem as the plot progresses, with the purpose of breeding and increasing potential heirs.
Question: Will there be a golden finger?
Answer: The protagonist will have some basic knowledge of history from the perspective of a reincarnation, equivalent to the level of an ordinary enthusiast, but that's all. It won't go into detail about what happened on a specific day of a specific year. Yizhen hopes that the protagonist has a process of continuous learning and growth, and there will be no system or other golden fingers in the future.
The above is the report to the esteemed readers.
The first chapter of the novel "San Guo: I am not Cao Rui" will be released at 22:00 tomorrow. Meeting is fate, and Yizhen here humbly asks for your first subscription. Thank you very much to our esteemed readers for your kind support.
Yizhen bows in gratitude!
