Chapter 646 Road Robbers Obstructing the Way (Part Two)

The most common roadside flowers in the game, such as blue mountain flowers, red mountain flowers, and purple mountain flowers, can be picked as soon as they are encountered.

In reality, there are numerous flowers of various colors along the roadside, and many of the same colors have multiple varieties. It is virtually impossible to distinguish which are true blue mountain flowers, red mountain flowers, or purple mountain flowers.

It's mainly because George never learned alchemy when he played this game, as it was too cumbersome.

He cast enchantments when playing as a mage, smelted forging when playing as a warrior, and brewed restoration potions when he needed to heal. He had even heard of the three-part cycle, but never bothered to try any of it.

This also means that even if he follows the impression of his previous life, it is difficult for him to find the correct herbs.

"I guess it's still necessary to be more aggressive and resort to violence, perhaps by attacking bandits or stealing from tombs."

Soon, George found the most suitable way for himself to make money.

There are many strongholds of bandits outside of the towns in The Elder Scrolls, and bandits often roam the roads, so as long as you pay attention, money will come to you.

If more is desired, one can go to steal from Nordic tombs.

In The Elder Scrolls, there are tombs of all sizes for the Nord race, and these tombs contain many valuable treasures, magical books, and magical weapons.

However, the Nordic tombs also contain a large number of undead and traps, which make many adventurers and thieves hesitate.

He remembers that there is a large tomb on the hill next to Riverwood, and he should be able to dig up a lot of valuable things.

"It's quite a bit further than I imagined."

After walking for two hours at a normal human pace, George had not yet seen the three iconic standing stones and the abandoned ancient cemetery from the game.

In other words, the actual distance between Riverwood and Sanctuary Town is much further than George had imagined.

"It looks like I need to pick up the pace."

With a burst of energy, George turned into a shadow as he vanished from the spot, running at supersonic speed northward.

Even though his body can survive without food or water without any issues, if there's a choice between staying in a comfortable hotel, drinking wine and listening to music, who would want to spend the night outside under the open sky?

"That must be the Ancient Ruins of Roaring Waterfall!"

In the twilight hour when the sun had not yet fully set, George saw a very prominent Nordic tomb in the mid-slope of a mountain in the northwest.

This Nordic tomb is called the Ruins of Roaring Waterfall, which is a well-known tomb in all of Skyrim.

At the same time, this tomb also hides a monument called the "Dragonstone," which records the resting places of the dragons that were once buried there.

After the banishment of Odyn, all other dragons, except for the dragon that helped humans, Patronax, were killed by humans in unison, marking the end of the age of dragon rule.

But in reality, dragons cannot truly be killed.

Because, including Odyn, all dragons originate from the dragon god, Akka. As long as Akka does not die, they will not die either.

Even if the physical body is destroyed, the soul can be awakened and reassembled to recreate the physical form.

The only ones who can kill Odyn and the dragons are dragon souls and dragon descendants.

Because the dragon souls and their descendants are also split from Akka and have been endowed with the special talent of absorbing dragon souls.

So when the dragon descendants kill a dragon, they can inhale the soul of the dragon to strengthen their own dragon souls and power.

Once the dragon souls merge into the body of the dragon descendants, they cannot be revived again.

George is uninterested in the dragon soul. When the dragon soul is absorbed by a dragon descendant and ultimately, after the descendant's death, their soul returns to Akka, it's as if Akka recovers all of its power.

If he were to consume the dragon soul through binding and commanding it, he would inevitably anger Akka, resulting in a loss.

Currently, as he is about to advance to single cosmic level, he does not lack souls or energy. His main focus is still to collect knowledge from different worlds and enhance his foundational strength.

His focus is that, since he has seen the ruins of Roaring Waterfall, it means that he is not far from Riverwood Town.

"I was just worried about the lodging fees for tonight, but it turns out that someone is coming to pay them."

Just as he was about to enter the supersonic state again, his ears twitched, and he slowed down, walking at a normal human pace.

And before he had even taken five minutes to walk, a sharp arrow shot out from the nearby grass, aimed directly at his heart.

"Trying to kill me so viciously? Then don't blame me for being unfriendly."

George raised his right hand and with two fingers, he gripped the arrow shot at him. Then, with a flip of his hand, the arrow instantly returned at ten times the speed it came from.

    "Ah!"

A cries of pain instantly came from the grass.

Following the cry, two Nord men, clad in leather armor and wielding iron swords, burst out of the grass, striking towards George's head with lightning speed.

"You don't know when to die."

George paid no attention to the iron swords being swung at him, directly lifting his right foot to kick out as two ghostly images. The two Nord men instantly spat blood and flew backward into the grass.

Stepping into the grass, the three bandits who had attempted to ambush George were now three corpses.

The first corpse had its forehead directly shot through, while the two behind had their chests crushed into pulp, all of George's doing.

These three men were clearly a small gang of bandits who frequently robbed passersby or merchants along the roadside. Their equipment was average, and their agility was no different.

A few minutes earlier, George had sensed the ambush of the three men and that's why he slowed down.

According to his thinking, if the three men were just robbing for money and not harming anyone, he would have taken their money, given them a lesson, and left them alive.

But these three men appeared to be desperate criminals who immediately resorted to murder, and it was likely that they had taken many innocent people's lives.

Therefore, he showed no mercy, finishing them off with a single strike each.

"Poor people, but they're enough for tonight's lodging fees."

Feeling the three bandits, George found over one hundred and several silver coins.

He did not strip the leather armor from the three thieves nor take their weapons.

The armor's defense effect is zero for him, and the weapons' power is also the same. If he sells them, they can fetch some money.

However, he found them too bloody and troublesome to take off, wasting his time.

He only needed it for one night, and he still had plans to visit the Ancient Ruins of Roaring Waterfall tomorrow. With over a hundred coins of Septim, it should be enough. So, he decided not to go through the trouble.

    "No magic is really inconvenient!"

George, unable to help but let out a sigh of exclamation again as he set off on the road.

No matter how strong one's physical strength is, it's no match for the intricacy of magic. Clothes that get dirty still have to be washed by hand, and you can't just wave your hand and make them clean and dry.

Again entering into supersonic travel, about ten minutes later, he stopped again.

It wasn't Riverwood Town he arrived at, but at the location of the Three Standstone.

There are a total of thirteen special standing stones in Skyrim, said to be closely connected to the Thirteen Constellations of Tamriel.

Each person can choose one standing stone to activate and gain some positive buffs it bestows.

At any given time, only one standing stone can be selected. To change the effect of a standing stone, simply touch and activate another one.
