Thanos reached out and ripped off Gamora's left mechanical arm and half of her body, throwing her on the ground like garbage.
Half of Gamora's body was a modified mechanical construct, and with the mechanical parts torn off, she would not survive more than ten minutes.

Star-Tree, lying on the ground with half of her body, looked at Thanos standing there and smiled with relief on her face.
When she realized that Thanos was not as powerful as she had imagined, her fear suddenly vanished, and even the impending loss of life no longer seemed daunting to her.
She had been so afraid of Thanos for all these years, not because she feared death.
Having experienced so many brutal transformations, how could she be afraid of death.
"She's right; you will definitely die before her."
