    "I remember you, human!"

Sauron glared with venom at George, and then gave the order for a full retreat.

However, how could George just let Sauron go, taking advantage of his illness to take his life?

If he couldn't kill Sauron today, he would have a much harder time doing so the next time.

"My Lord Prince, he cannot be allowed to escape!"

    "Kill!"

Finrod and George thought the same thing. George had not even spoken when he was already charging up the stairs with his sword.

    "You're asking for death!"

Sauron, seeing Finrod and George charging at him again, bit his lip and temporarily abandoned the attempt to heal the fatal injury to his heart. He unleashed a significant portion of his dark eldritch power, descending upon George and Finrod like a gathering cloud.

The sudden overwhelming dark force immediately caused George and Finrod's bodies to be pressed back to the spot.

"The radiant light of the Holy Tree shines upon the Elves, and my holy sword will surely cleave off your head, for the honor of the entire Elf race!"

Finrod recited a spell, and his body began to emanate an increasingly powerful golden light, even pushing against the dark force and advancing towards Sauron.

George was no slouch either. A golden array appeared before him.

"Light Magic · Field of Light!"

Strong sacred light erupted from within him, pushing the dark force outward as well.

However, unlike Finrod who continued to advance, George disappeared from the spot after resisting the pressure of the dark force and using the spell of Illumination Disappearance.

When he reappeared, he was some distance behind Sauron.

Illusionary Disappearance is not a foolproof spell, as it can be easily countered by a strong opponent who appears directly in front of them at the moment of its use.

Therefore, for safety, it's still better to leave a little bit of safe distance.

His goal was to first break free from the suppression of the dark forces.

    "Swift and fleeting!"

Reaching out, George summoned another Elf sword into his hand. With an electric flash, he appeared behind Sauron's back. His left hand sword slashed out a simple "Mountain-Splitting Force" strike straight at the back of Sauron's head.

Sauron responded swiftly as well, continuing to use his dark powers to suppress Finrod in front while raising his magic sword to block the strike.

Meanwhile, George moved his right hand sword to strike at Sauron.

    "Clang!"

The sword was repelled by the Dragon Scale Armor on Sauron's body, failing to penetrate.

Without the light of the Holy Tree to empower him and his ordinary Elf sword being far less potent than Finrod's sacred Elf sword, George was unable to pierce through Sauron's armor like Finrod could.

Nevertheless, it's okay. He didn't really intend to pierce through the armor in the first place.

    "Ava da Mors!"

The greenish curse of death struck precisely on Sauron's body, penetrating his flesh.

The direct strike on the soul caused Sauron's body to instantly stiffen, and the powerful dark force pressing him also disappeared.

George didn't expect the Avada Mors to kill Sauron, who was adept in dark powers. However, as long as he could disrupt the dark pressure for one second, his goal was achieved.

Because that one second was enough for Finrod to charge up to Sauron's face.

    "Damn!"

Sauron also realized he had been duped and immediately let go of his left hand, which had been covering the wound on his heart, and grabbed the Elf sword that George had used to impale him on his Dragon Scale Armor. He then unleashed scorching inferno magic, melting the Elf sword right there on the spot.

Faced with Finrod, who was directly aiming for his head, Sauron was about to unleash his dark energy once again to repel him.

Although doing so would further exacerbate his physical injuries, there's no time to care about that now.

Otherwise, if his body were to be destroyed, it would take decades to reconstruct it.

    "Light Magic: Light Explosion!"

Unfortunately, his spell was once again interrupted by George.

George's Elf sword behind him lit up with another golden array of magic.

A water barrel-sized column of sacred light struck Sauron's body, once again causing him to freeze in place.

The Sacred Light Magic he learned from the Dragon Tail and the Elves' inheritance of power from the Holy Tree were very similar. Both could counteract the dark powers used by Melkor and his army.

"You should have become the President long ago, learned the laws of the Elves."

If he had used the Supernatural Elf Law instead of Light Explosion, it wouldn't just have stiffened his body but potentially even destroyed Sauron's physical form.

He still remembered the Light Array that covered the entire town.

    "Chi!"

Blood sprayed in the air, and Sauron's entire right arm holding his magic sword was severed.

As one of the mightiest Maiar, he was still formidable. In the last moment, he unleashed all his power and dodged the vital neck area, but only lost his right arm holding the magic sword.

However, based on his pale face and weak body, he must have paid a significant price for it.

    "Light Magic · Light Array!"

With such a hard-won victory, George wouldn't let it slip. He followed up with another attack from the Sacred Light Magic.

Because he was concerned that Sauron might dodge, George used a Light Array with relatively weaker power but denser attacks.

His battle plan remained the same: he sought not to kill but to limit Sauron to the greatest extent possible, allowing Finrod with his more potent attack power to do the damage.

And Finrod did not disappoint. With a thousand years of age, Finrod took a swift step forward after cutting off Sauron's right arm, intending to take Sauron's magical head down in one blow after George's magical strike landed.

However, an unexpected event occurred at this time.

A giant wolf leapt out from behind Sauron's back, blocking his path, and shielding him from George's Light Array spell with its body.

Another vampire with bat wings, whose appearance was eerie and seductive, held two bone swords to block Finrod.

It was the two most loyal subordinates of Sauron, both giant wolves turned into Maiar by their master: Horgar Thraini and the vampire queen, Selinda Weis. They had come to save the day.

After receiving Sauron's order for a full retreat, they had already led the Orcish army towards Angband.

"Horgar Thraini, hold the rear guard!"

After several rounds of fighting, Selinda Weis transformed into a blood mist and carried heavily injured Sauron, who vanished into the retreating Orcish army, while Horgar Thraini took the form of a giant wolf to block George and Finrod.

    "It was so close!"

George sighed to himself inwardly and then, with a pull and a push of his hands, unleashed a plasma electromagnetic cannon at Horgar Thraini as it bit down.

The plasma electromagnetic cannon followed the path of Horgar Thraini's mouth down to its throat, and then into its belly, causing it to howl in pain and crash to the ground.

Finrod then stepped forward and with a swift sword strike, severed the wolf head from Horgar Thraini's body.

    "A pity!"

Looking at the Orcish army that melted into black smoke in the distance, George's eyes clouded over with regret once again.

That black smoke was where Melkor's territory began, and pursuing them might cause Melkor to intervene, so he had to give up for the time being.

The Elf army assembled once more, with half its number reduced to only a thousand.

The Elf army was not large enough to conquer the Orcish forces. Although the Elves had managed to kill half of the Orcs with their lightning and arrow volleys, there were simply too many Orcs for them to achieve a decisive victory.

Upon seeing this situation, Finrod felt even more gratitude towards George in his heart.

His life, along with the lives of the one thousand Elves, could be said to have been saved because of George.
