    "Harry, move back!"

"George did not go in with the professors, but obediently took Harry away from the door."

At this moment, just quietly wait for the result.

After a moment, a cacophony of noise echoed from the room in the distance, including the crowing of roosters, the terrified hisses of serpents, and the spells being cast by the professors.

    "Keep your eyes closed!"

    "Vanishing Shadow!"

    "Thunderclap Explosion!"

    "Superior Armor Shield!"

"The Curse of the Mending Spell seals the strongest ability of the Snake Monster, the Explosion Charm sends it flying, Vanishing Shadow finishes the job, and the Super Iron Armor Charm protects everyone from being overwhelmed by the Snake Monster. It's doubtful that even without the crows, the Snake Monster would be a match for the professors!"

George listened to the commotion in the room, feeling impressed inside.

Apart from those duds like Rohan, the wizards in the teaching team at Hogwarts are all at the top of the wizarding world.

Even the chaotic divination professor, Sybillus Trelawney, who spends most of her time babbling and teaching nonsense, is actually a descendant of the true prophetess Cassandra Trelawney.

Once the commotion on the other side of the room died down, George finally went over to Harry.

At this moment, the huge snake body of the serpent monster lay broken on the ground, clearly it was dead beyond repair.

The professors, on the other hand, were completely unharmed as they used magic to collect the scattered roosters and put them back in their boxes.

"Headmaster, I am very interested in magical creatures and have been studying this subject with Hagrid recently. Could I have a couple of its teeth as a keepsake?"

Seeing that the matter had already been resolved, George turned to Snape and asked.

The snake monster's teeth are rare items that can break Voldemort's Horcruxes. It would be a good idea to have a few in case we run into trouble in the future.

"This time, we were able to resolve the snake monster so easily, all thanks to the rooster you brought. The snake monster's teeth are poisonous; be careful."

    Snape agreed without hesitation.

George immediately went up and pulled out a few of the snake monster's poisonous teeth, placing them in the box with the roosters.

With the snake monster dealt with, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

However, as they turned to leave the room, Rohan secretly pulled out his wand.

When the snake monster attacked, he was so scared that he cowered in a corner and shivered. If the professors went out, all the falsehoods he had been cultivating would be exposed, and he would become the biggest liar.

So he intended to use the Confundus Charm on everyone while they were relaxed and defenseless, erasing their memories and altering them so that they would remember only him as the one who defeated the snake monster and saved Hogwarts.

"Professor Rohan, what do you want to do? Disarm yourself!"

George, who had been keeping an eye on Rohan's movements, saw the latter draw his wand to attack all the professors. George immediately cast a disarming charm, hitting Rohan and sending him flying out while disarming him of his wand.

    "George, what's going on?"

Professor McGonagall and the other professors looked puzzled.

George pointed at Rohan and replied:

"Just now, I saw Professor Rohan walking at the back, trying to cast spells of attack on all the professors."

"No, I didn't do that, George. How can you attack a teacher?"

Rohan quickly denied it after getting up, while Snape went straight to him:

    "Legilimens!"

Compared to Rohan, he would definitely trust George more.

After a moment, he said with a difficult-to-see expression:

"This fellow wanted to cast a memory charm on us, and then claim the credit for defeating the snake monster, just like he did before by writing books about other wizards' stories and then casting memory charms on them."

"This charlatan, I knew he was a fraud."

The professors heard Snape's words and immediately pointed at Rohan and started cursing him.

Even after waking up, Rohan was still there refuting.

"You can't accuse me of doing something because of jealousy. I didn't do it."

    "Stupefy!"

Snape pointed his wand at Rohan, and a rope appeared out of thin air, wrapping around Rohan like a snake and binding him tightly.

"These words, you can wait to tell the Aurors in the Ministry. If they don't confess, I'll provide them with a few drops of Veritaserum as a friendly gesture."

"I'm sorry, Rohan, even though you've given me quite a few notes, I can't let you erase your memories."

George saw Rohan looking despairing and murmured to himself.

Actually, if Rohan had not wanted to erase everyone's memories in the end, George would not have touched him, considering that Rohan had often given him notes.

Whether Rohan erased the memories of many witches and wizards, appropriated their experiences for publication, or not, was not relevant to him.

Leave Rohan; he can still use the notes to read books in the restricted section in the future.

Unfortunately, Rohan chose to be suicidal and tried to erase everyone's memories, including his own. George couldn't just let that slide.

Fortunately, most of the valuable items in the Restricted Section that he had already copied down, so it wouldn't be a problem for him to go there later.

In the afternoon, due to the discovery of the Chamber of Secrets and the death of the snake monster, Dumbledore naturally returned to school.

As soon as Dumbledore returned to the school, he immediately called all five of them - George, Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny - to his office in the Headmaster's office to get a detailed account of what had happened.

George naturally said what needed to be said and kept the rest hidden.

Actually, except for encouraging Ginny to tell the truth and helping to transport the roosters later, George was not very involved in the matter. When he was questioned, he didn't have much to say.

The main question was still directed towards Harry and Ginny.

Especially for the details of the night when Ginny's diary was stolen, Dumbledore asked very carefully, obviously not wanting Voldemort's diary to be out in the open.

However, he did not uncover any clues.

The crucial point was that when Ginny described the incident, for some reason, she did not mention that she had stuck the butterfly bookmark in her diary. George thought she might have forgotten this small detail.

Even if Ginny had mentioned it, it wouldn't have mattered much. Who would have thought that he could use magnetic positioning to locate the bookmark, as magic is not within the wizarding system and has the power of science.

As long as Dumbledore didn't use the time-turner, he wouldn't have noticed anything suspicious. It had been well past five hours now.

Moreover, if he hadn't encouraged Ginny, she might not have had the courage to confess all this, so he was the hero of this matter.

After the questioning was over, George smoothly returned to his dormitory, and he had no interest in knowing about Dumbledore's private conversation with Harry.

In the evening, an announcement was posted on the school notice board that the snake monster had been killed by the school professors, and students were all very happy.

Afterwards, the school returned to normal classes, and the Quidditch matches continued as usual. The end-of-term exams began a little over a month later, just as usual, without any good news of canceling exams as seen in the original work.
