......
"George, thank you for sending me out!"
After stepping out of the ominous Flimsy Alley, Harry finally let out a sigh of relief and immediately thanked George.
He felt that if it hadn't been for George's help in getting him out, the eerie and strange wizards along the way might have eaten him alive.
"Harry! Harry!"
At that moment, a little girl with thick, fluffy brown hair ran towards them from the street.
"It's so glad to see you! Why are you all in grey, and what about your glasses?"
"I'm also glad to see you, Hermione."
Harry adjusted his glasses that were full of cracks on his face and a happy smile appeared on his face.
"It was an accident."
"Okay, I'll help you fix it first, and make it look like new!"
Hermione drew out her wand and casted a restoration spell on Harry's glasses.
As if time had reversed, the glasses, which were once full of cracks, were restored to their pristine condition in just a few seconds.
"I guess I'll have to practice this spell more."
Harry looked at his newly restored glasses, couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.
He's not Hermione; he's not only mastered all the spells from the first-year textbook but has also taught himself many spells. He hasn't even fully mastered the basic spells, including the restoration spell.
George, like Harry, had the same thoughts at that moment.
The restoration spell is not only able to repair small things like glasses. If practiced well, even collapsing buildings can be repaired easily.
In the Marvel Universe, just with this magic, he would be able to make a lot of money.
"Who are you?"
After fixing Harry's glasses, Hermione turned her head to look at George standing next to Harry with a confused expression on her face.
"He's a new friend of mine, George. This is Hermione Granger."
Harry quickly introduced them to each other.
George also extended his hand and smiled:
"Hello, beautiful Miss Granger."
"Hello, George."
Hearing George compliment her beauty, Hermione's goodwill towards George shot up by a lot, happily reaching out her hand and shaking hands with George.
This was the first time, aside from her parents, that someone had complimented her on her looks. As for intelligence, there were plenty who praised her for that.
"Harry, since your friend has come, I should go back as well. See you at Hogwarts again."
After shaking hands with Hermione, George didn't stay for long, waved goodbye and walked into Flimsy Alley.
It's just a first meeting; getting to know each other is enough. There's no need to interact too closely, as it might seem too forced. Besides, his time is precious and he still needs to study and learn magic.
The most important thing was that he didn't plan to stop Malfoy from slipping Voldemort's diary into Ginny.
The diary of Voldemort contains the soul of Voldemort, which can bewitch people. Even with his psychic abilities, he wouldn't be sure he could resist it, so he didn't intend to come into contact with or claim it for himself.
There's no need to try to stop it. After all, with Dumbledore there, it would only become a lesson for Harry, and no real harm would come to any young wizard.
He was thinking of using this opportunity to try to gain some benefits.
"He seems pretty good. How did I never see him at school?"
Hermione looked at George's departing figure with a tone of confusion.
George looked like he wasn't much older than her, either being in the same grade or a year higher, and she shouldn't have missed him.
Harry said with a smile:
"Because he just started attending Hogwarts in the first grade this year, you naturally haven't seen him."
"Then he's younger than us, so how did you two meet?"
Hermione walked with Harry towards Flourish & Blotts while curiously asking.
Harry also told her about his recent experience.
On the other side, George noticed a very bulky figure standing outside his shop and looking around when he returned to the door of his shop.
To describe him as bulky doesn't quite do justice, because his height had already exceeded the limits of ordinary humans.
After estimating, it was about 3.5 meters tall. Even if he approached, it would be hard to reach the person's waist, and the presence was overwhelming.
"How did this guy end up in front of my shop?"
With such a stature and attire, George immediately guessed the person's identity.
It was none other than the keeper of the keys, gamekeeper, and master of magical animals at Hogwarts - Rubeus Hagrid.
Thinking of Hagrid's background, he couldn't help but give a thumbs-up to Hagrid's father, Mr. Hagrid, what a fierce guy.
After all, the normal height of the giant race is around 7 to 8 meters. As a male wizard of average height, Mr. Hagrid managed to mate with a female giant and have offspring, which is truly astonishing and deserves respect for his remarkable talent.
"Sir, may I ask if there's something you need?"
George approached to ask.
Hagrid turned and looked down at George, seeing that he was a slender young wizard. His tone immediately softened as he replied:
"I'm looking for a potion to drive away blood-sucking tentacles. I heard that only this apothecary has it, but unfortunately, it seems like they're closed."
His tone was gentle, but due to his massive physique, it sounded in George's ears like a shout from a normal person.
"The boss of this magical apothecary, Mr. Merton, passed away recently while making a potion. Now I'm running the place. I know about the potion you're looking for; I can find it for you."
George took out his wand to open the door and quickly walked over to the counter to get the potion.
Dora might not be able to brew potions, but she was very knowledgeable about herbology and all the potion functions in the shop due to her role of introducing and attracting customers.
"The repellent potion is effective not only against blood-sucking tentacles, but also against cabbage caterpillars and heartworms."
"Oh, thank you, young owner."
Hagrid took the potion with a look of surprise and his face immediately broke into a satisfied smile.
"How much?"
"Limited time offer, 14 Sickles."
George held out his hand with a smile.
"Much cheaper than I expected."
Hagrid took a handful of silver Sickles from his large mole-fur coat pocket, counted 14 of them, and placed them in George's hand.
He had thought that such a rare potion would cost at least nearly two Gold Galleons.
"Because I'm about to go to Hogwarts to study soon and I'm in a good mood, so I gave you a discount."
George put the 14 silver Sickles into the box on the counter and said cheerfully, "Because I'm going to Hogwarts soon and am in a good mood, so I gave you a half-price discount."
As he could communicate with animals using his mind, and had the potential to become a master of magical creatures, there was no need to waste it.
Making good relations with Hagrid and learning more about magical creatures would be beneficial for both making money and increasing his strength by keeping some magical animals.
Therefore, after recognizing Hagrid, he had the idea of making friends with him.
Hagrid was warm, kind, straightforward, and had no tricks up his sleeve. It wasn't difficult to get along with him.
As expected, after hearing what he said, Hagrid was clearly startled for a moment and his attitude instantly became much friendlier. He looked closely at George's face and smiled:
"You're a first-year student, then. I'm Rubeus Hagrid, the gamekeeper at Hogwarts. You can come find me after school starts, and I'll make you some rock cakes for lunch."
