"There's no need to talk anymore. If you keep being a nuisance, I'll beat you to death today!" Old Zhu said while revealing his fists as big as sandbags, combined with his towering height of eight feet and a waist measuring ten rounds, he was quite intimidating.
The Siberian deer is now under a restriction imposed by the phoenix, unable to use any of its magic power. He can only continue to act pitifully.
"Great Sage, please stop being angry. Please, please, please stop the rage of thunder!" He searched his mind thoroughly and finally said with a try-and-see attitude: "The old man has a daughter. She is fair and white, beautiful and charming. My daughter has said that she loves heroes in her life and only wants to marry a hero."
Old Zhu endured the time of a breath and wanted to maintain a serious face, but his inner excitement made him ask with some impatience: "Is this true? How does your daughter compare to the Chang'e Goddess in the Moon Palace?"
Damn? That easy to hook? The Siberian deer old man couldn't believe it, but still said with a smile, "Spring orchids and autumn chrysanthemums, each excelling in their respective domains; it's not easy to compare them."
As the phoenix rested inside the carriage, he nodded in approval when he heard them start talking. "That's good. Continue causing trouble. The only way to get the South Pole Immortal involved is to make things bigger," he said.
The first to withdraw from the heavens, the teachers of Jié jiào were the second wave to leave the battlefield.
Zhaogongming and Bixiao led numerous disciples of the Jie School to kill many of the Kunpeng's subordinates around the North Sea.
Although the Kunpeng's power wasn't large, it wasn't an isolated individual. As an immortal of the demon race, there were always some demonic races that joined him, just like how Hong Jin used to do, and how the one who was sent out to divert attention was also like that. The result was that many demonic races who were led by Bixiao and the disciples of the Jie School were slaughtered in a massacred manner.
Snap muscles, peel skin, and cut bones - the bodies of demons are very good spiritual materials in today's Hundun. Some of the disciples of the Jie School who participated in the battle had some injuries and deaths, but those who survived were all joyful. The disciples of the Jie School were not short on "law," "companion," or "land," but only lacked "wealth." Being poor in hand would make their cultivation slow and difficult, while being wealthy could greatly reduce the obstacles to breakthroughs.
On the Buddhist side, in addition to taking away the body of Peng Dao Ren, Lu Ya was also led by several demons to retrieve the Demon Master's Palace that had been destroyed and whose whereabouts were unknown after the disintegration of the array.
The Demon Master's Palace was considered a decent treasure in the hands of the Kunpeng. Deng Chanyu's Daoist Temple of Taichi was basically centered around cultivation, while the Demon Master's Palace of Kunpeng was a combination of offense and defense. Not only was it integrated into a Taoist realm, but it also possessed most of the functions of both running away and carrying space.
"Is this the Demon Master's Palace?" asked the moonlight, scanning the palace complex towering over a hundred feet, its surface covered in ice crystals, with a total of more than a dozen buildings.
The true interior space of the Demon Master's Palace should be even larger. What is currently displayed is the actual size of the treasure.
The knot in Lu Ya's heart is largely untangled, although he bears heavy injuries, his mood is good. He said: "Reporting to Buddha, the Buddhist monk I used to see this thing was really the Demon Master's Palace."
The moonlight reached out to touch the palace's main gate, and an intense coldness permeated her flesh from her fingertips all the way up to her elbow before it was dissipated by the Dharma.
It's so cold! The main gate of the palace is made of some unknown material, which can be called original cold ice. This palace has been buried in the deepest part of the North Sea for millions of years. Even just glancing at it now, there is a tendency for both eyes to freeze.
She asked Lu Ya, "Does the Great Sun Buddha have any way to break the restriction?"
There may not be all of Kunpeng's savings in the Demon Master's Palace, but at least a third of his capital should be there. This should be enough. Although it can't compare to the heavenly realm that rules three realms and has a thick foundation, when it comes to large forces, the spiritual mountains are actually quite poor.
The Goddess of Compassion, Guanyin, participated in both of these "group activities." According to both emotion and reason, she should receive some rewards.
This Bodhisattva Guanyin's "answering prayers in every thousand places" is too expensive. Many of the world's sufferings are actually caused by a lack of money. Even if you say it as nicely as possible and draw beautiful pictures, it's not as effective as money. After all, when you have money, almost all of the world's sufferings will disappear.
Spiritual materials can be exchanged for a large amount of silver and gold in the mortal realm, and silver and gold can help more living beings. This is a great help to the Bodhisattva Guanyin, whose Buddhism is not yet profound enough at present.
If Moonlight can defeat the wealthy Kunpeng and unlock the Demon Master's Palace, aside from giving a large batch of spiritual materials to Guanyin Bodhisattva, it would also be a chance for the recently depleted Lingshan (Sumeru Mountain) to recover some vitality.
The current problem is that it cannot be opened.
Lu Ya laughed dryly twice: "Buddha, please forgive me. I have never had any contact with Kunpeng. I really don't know the method of opening this palace."
Kunpeng is a semi-saint who has severed his two bodies. The restriction he set up is difficult to break with conventional means.
Moonlight thought for a moment again.
While she was thinking, Guanyin Bodhisattva and the Bodhisattva of Manjushri and Pu Xianshi also arrived.
Guanyin Bodhisattva was still lamenting her poverty, while Manjushri and Pu Xianshi were both eager to establish a grand Dharma hall—one word, it's all about money.
The declaration of allegiance has already been made, and now they are part of the Buddhist community.
Moonlight chatted with them, finally making a promise that the opening of the Demon Master's Palace would be accompanied by the distribution of money! As for when the palace will open? That would require patient waiting.
However, the establishment of the Dharma hall and the congregation are also important matters that cannot be delayed. She cut the amount of spiritual materials required by the three great sages by ninety percent and then mobilized a portion of celestial treasures from the Lingshan treasury, which temporarily settled them.
At nightfall.
All the Buddha, Bodhisattva, and Arhat cultivated their respective paths. Moonlight sat on the Twelve-Grade Merit Golden Lotus and conversed remotely with Phoenix.
Moonlight asked, "How are we going to deal with that scoundrel Hong Jin? Can I handle it?"
Phoenix was somewhat perplexed: "Hou Tian accused Hong Jin and others of ten or so gods and demons from the Qin Sea of colluding with Kunpeng, the demon teacher. In a hurry, it's difficult to hand them over to Lingshan."
Referring to the old example of the immortal Fuyuan, the heavenly court is quite cautious about executing immortals. It rarely uses the Execution Platform for gods unless they are guilty of ten major crimes and there is conclusive evidence, generally opting for imprisonment instead.
This is also a sign of Hou Tian's "royal power" being undermined. He dare not kill gods lightly, and the heavenly court is currently in a situation where "the king and the literati govern the world together."
Moonlight sighed: "Then it's troublesome. My space law cannot bypass the restriction of the Demon Master's Palace. The essence, you must try hard! I feel that there are many treasures stored in the Demon Master's Palace. If you don't try hard, when can we become wealthy?
Phoenix's voice rose slightly: "Yes, your leveling speed as a physical body is too slow! Can you dare to upgrade faster to become a Daoist Supreme? Can you dare?"
Deng Chanyu pretends to be dead and ignores it
Moonlight also instructs the Three Sages to crack the restriction of the Demon Master's Palace and promises that after opening the treasure hall, they can take an extra ten percent of the spiritual materials as compensation.
The three great sages all tried, but found that it was not Moonlight who was avoiding responsibility. The restriction of the Demon Master's Palace was extremely complex, and it really could not be opened.
Moonlight was also pondering. Besides the continuous progress of her spatial Dao, perhaps only by breaking through to the Daoist Supreme, or collecting the three pieces of the Phoenix staff, and re-forging this supreme treasure that integrates both fire and spatial Dao, could she open the Demon Master's Palace.
