Half an hour later, Nuwa said to Deng ChanYu, "The Tao of the fundamental principles that govern the primordial chaos world has some damage. For example, the matter you mentioned about Jueliousun has some impact on the law of cause and effect."
Under Nuwa's explanation, Deng ChanYu also understood the severity of the current situation.
There are many contradictions between the Tao, some of which can coexist, such as water and fire, life and death. Some cannot coexist, such as the Dao that is called "reverse cause for effect" when Gu Liusun is killed. This Dao cannot coexist with the law of cause and effect in the primordial chaos world at the same time.
This way is smooth, that way is reversed? No one knows when it's smooth and when it's reversed. Goodness, isn't that chaos? Once chaotic to a certain degree, the entire primordial chaos world will revert to chaos again. If this Tao were to be accommodated, there would be no primordial chaos left.
Hongjun should have realized this issue, so he kept the law of cause and effect and discarded the "reverse cause for effect", and threw some of the Tao he felt were inappropriate along with the fragments of Zao Huaju into chaos.
Nuwa said, "The whole may not necessarily be good. Imperfect things often outweigh perfection. The incomplete Dao may be more suitable for the primordial chaos world, and Dao An's choice is correct."
Deng Chanyu said, "Disciple understands."
She immediately contacted the Moonlight and changed the previous plan.
They were originally planning to watch the show, but now they must actively involve themselves in this matter.
In the original timeline, Jie Yu in Wan Xian Army redeemed the "thousand red dust guests" of Jue Tu, and with the power of a sage, he was not blindly selecting. It looks like he swept his sleeve and captured three thousand Jue Tu immortals at once, but in fact, there are a lot of insides. A sage can produce billions of ideas in an instant. He picked all those who were naturally inclined towards the west and behaved themselves among the Jue Tu immortals.
Now the situation is different. Now, Tongtian Jiazhu has gifted a thousand disciples to Buddhism, and after that, he didn't impose any constraints on the major teachings. Little by little, some more disciples from the Juejiao sect have also joined Buddhism.
He willingly gave away those he didn't want, and these Jue Tu immortals had some problems to begin with, such as impulsiveness, recklessness, bloodlust or other factors. Now these unstable elements are suddenly stuffed into Buddhism at once, which is not noticeable on a normal day. However, when something happens, problems will arise.
In the past, three of the Ten Princes on the Golden Turtle Island, Qin Wan, Zhao Jiang, and Dong Quan, all ranked among the top, had died.
The remaining Yuan Jiao, Jing Guang Shengmu, Sun Liang, Bai Li, Yao Bin, Wangbian, and Zhang Shaohui had been separated for more than ten years. After the formal establishment of Buddhism, they gathered again at Ling Mountain.
Jing Guang Shengmu has a Bodhisattva fruit position, while the other six are Arhats.
Not all Bodhisattvas are at the same level as Guanyin Bodhisattva. There are a very large number of Bodhisattvas, hundreds or even thousands of them. Among the Arhats, there are some strong and some weak. Jing Guang being a Bodhisattva does not mean she is stronger than the other six Arhats.
The seven people all come from the Juejiao sect, even though they were divided into two factions because of different ideals. Now, naturally, they have reunited together.
Although Buddhism and Daoism belong to the same family, there are still differences between them. For such Jue Tu Shang Qing immortals who only know a little about Jue Tu Shang Qing Fazhi, the Buddhist Dharma is indeed too obscure.
Moonlight has the obligation to teach her disciples the scriptures, but she mostly uses the academic approach from university. She starts teaching right away and considers it a task completed after finishing. Whether you understand or not, whether you grasp it or not, that is all your own business.
The seven prince's innate abilities are all focused on arrays, making it difficult for them to extrapolate and apply what they have learned. Every day, they must cluster together, remember different parts of the scriptures during their lectures, and then reunite at the abode to study and research together.
To be honest, their learning method is quite good. They are not comparable to the previous Western disciples, but they have far surpassed ordinary disciples, making them top students in Buddhism. They occasionally receive guidance from Gu Liusun.
That's right, they have some connections with Gu Liusun.
Let's not mention that the great king Qin Wan of the Ten Day Immortals became possessed and was completely annihilated.
The second son, Zhao Jiang, was burned to death by Taiyi Zhenren. The third son, Dong Quan, was beaten to death by Zhentu. These two were enlisted in the Sheng Ming Biao and later deified as gods. Now both of the princes are working under Xun Zhong in the Thunder Department.
Gu Liusun has always said that he has connections in the heavenly court, so the Seven Day Princes thought they could rely on his connections to make contact with Zhao Jiang and Dong Quan. Since they can't gather the Ten Day Princes, can we reassemble a group of Nine Day Princes instead?
Unfortunately, their plan was just starting when Gu Liusun passed away. It is said that he was even chopped into pieces by the heavenly soldiers and officers and died a terrible death.
Once formed, one's nature is difficult to change. The disciples of the Jue Tu sect have never had any reverence for the Tianjing since ancient times. It is impossible for them to change their three views completely after reading a few Buddhist scriptures. They are not at that stage yet, and putting one's thoughts into another's mind remains the most difficult thing in the world.
They were never reverent to begin with, and now that the Tianjing has "kidnapped" Zhao Jiang and Dong Quan, and killed the very kind Gu Liusun, it's natural for the Seven Day Princes, who are former Jue Tu disciples, to be dissatisfied with the Tianjing. They are not an exception but a common sentiment.
Let's go to the Tianjing and tell that scoundrel Hou Tian to release all the Jue Tu sect immortals on the Sheng Ming Biao. At that time, we will worship Duo Bao as the eldest brother, let Guishling be the eldest sister, isn't it? Hearing that Xun Zhong likes to meddle in others' affairs, let him manage the affairs of education, and let that troublemaker Moonlight be kicked out. Let a group of former Jue Tu disciples enjoy themselves leisurely at Ling Mountain. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
Moonlight is very busy now. She has heard about the former Jue Tu disciples' plan to establish a second Jue Tu on Mount Ling. It's indeed just a hearsay, as her heart-connection can hear the thoughts of these people. Regarding this, she said, "I understand. Let me know when you start a rebellion, and I'll help you burn the storeroom for you."
She instructed her trusted disciple, "Shifu, go to Wuyi Mountain and bring back the Buddha body of Gu Liusun's Buddha."
The young Buddhist disciples clasped their hands together in respect and said, "Comply with the law."
Shifu is considered an outstanding disciple of the younger generation in Buddhism. It is said that when his mother gave birth to him, she dreamt of a Buddhist stupa bird entering her embrace, and after that, Shifu was born. The Buddhist stupa bird is known as the cormorant in the East, coming from a genuine flying bird lineage. Shifu naturally gets along well with Moonlight, who often sends him on various tasks to accumulate some merit for future enlightenment into an Arhat.
A day later, Shifu brought back the severely injured and nearly ground into a paste Buddha body of Gu Liusun.
For ordinary people, he might say they can go to the Pure Land after death and cross the shore to Nirvana, but for a true Buddha, these words are no longer necessary.
Gu Liusun became a Buddha solely because of his identity as a Juejiao Golden Immortal. To be precise, in terms of his cultivation within the Buddhist sect, he is only at the level of a Bodhisattva.
Nowadays, people don't say that someone's level is insufficient after they die.
Moonlight convened a grand dharma assembly to celebrate the extinguishing of Gu Liusun's troubles and deliverance from suffering.
According to Buddhist teachings, Gu Liusun is now parinirvana, entering nirvana, and will return in the future. Whether he can actually return is a matter of differing opinions among the wise and the benevolent.
