Wefuqi smiled gracefully as she approached and bowed respectfully to her, "Fuhu meets her cousin sister, Asi."

Wefuqu, the niece of Wei Empress, Wei's eldest daughter, though a cousin of Lou Xili, was closer to Lou Yao than her, and did not speak much with her for a year.

For her sudden approach, Lou Xi was somewhat curious about what she wanted to say by stopping her so unexpectedly.

Lou Xi looked up and down at her, frowning and pretending not to understand, "Who are you?"

Wefuqu was slightly taken aback, not expecting Lou Xi to not recognize her. Although their relationship wasn't very good before she married as a concubine, they still saw each other often enough not to be unacquainted.

Although it was unclear whether Lou Xi was genuinely unable to recognize her or if she was pretending, Wefuqu still spoke softly, "My cousin sister, do you not recognize me? I am..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Lou Xi gave a wink to Wanxiang, who understood and advanced to kick her foot so that she fell on her knees.

"Audacious! To dare to call yourself 'me' in the presence of the princess, don't you want to live?"

Wefuqu had not expected that Lou Xi's servant would react so quickly, and was severely injured by the kick on her knee, which caused her to cry out in pain.

    "Miss."

Wefuqu's maidservant came to her senses, hurriedly going forward to help her up, and glaring at Wanxiang: "How dare you! You actually dared to lay hands on our miss."

"How?" Lou Xi raised her eyebrows, smiling and asking, "Is your lady's status higher than mine, Your Highness?"

One sentence silenced the maidservant's words.

Due to the pain from her knee, Wefuqu sweated coldly on her forehead, but thinking of today's purpose, she gritted her teeth and scolded the maidservant beside her.

    "Lianqiu, do not be impolite."

She said that, looking at Lou Xi and trying to force a friendly smile, "It's normal that my cousin sister couldn't recognize me after ten years, especially since I almost didn't recognize you either."

"So, who are you?" Lou Xi played with the bracelet on her wrist and asked coldly.

Wefuqu repressed her distaste in her heart and spoke softly, "I am your cousin sister, Wei Fuhu."

"Wefuqu?" Lou Xi examined her anew and smiled, "Ah, it's Wei Eldest Sister. You've aged so much since ten years ago; even as the Empress, I almost didn't recognize you."

Wefuqu's lips twitched, but she maintained the gentle smile on her face and said, "Yes, it's been more than a decade since we last saw each other. Cousin sister Xili is even more radiant now."

Hearing her praise, Lou Xi showed no expression on her face. Leaning against Chu Wei, she lazily asked, "I wonder what reason has led to Wei Eldest Sister calling the Empress here."

Wefuqu did not hurry to speak, as her body swayed slightly due to the pain from bending her knee and landing heavily on the ground.

A trace of mockery flashed in the depths of Lou Xi's eyes, and as if she had not seen it, she repeated the previous words.

"Why has Wei Eldest Sister felt it necessary to call the Empress?"

Wefuqu's eyes flashed with a trace of malevolence, but then returned to a gentle smile. "I have some words I want to say to my cousin sister, shall we go together?"

"Fine." Although Lou Xi didn't particularly want to be around her, she still wanted to hear what Wefuqu wanted to say to her. She decided to meet at the Long Princess Mansion.

After leaving the palace, Wefuqu had wanted to ride in the same carriage as Lou Xi, but before she could even open her mouth, Lou Xi said directly, "I assume Wei Eldest Sister has her own carriage."

Since she had said that, Wefuqu didn't feel comfortable riding in her carriage either. After simply saying "Yes," she climbed onto her own carriage.

They traveled in silence, and before long, they arrived at the Long Princess Mansion. Lou Xi disembarked from the carriage and entered the mansion directly.

Wefuqu hesitated and then followed inside, but for some reason, she had a feeling that she was stepping into a den of lions.

As they entered the main hall, Lou Xi sat in the top position, watching as Wefuqu sat down without saying anything. After tea was served, she simply kept her head down and played with Chu Wei's hand.

Seeing her intimate actions with the servant beside her, Wefuqu's eyes quickly flashed with disgust. She really lives up to the rumors of not being able to live without a man for even a moment.

Thinking of her purpose for coming, Wefuqu displayed a gentle smile on her face, "I have come here today to ask my cousin sister to persuade the Emperor. Since he has been close to you since childhood, he should listen to you."

Upon hearing the name "Liu Zheng," Lou Xi's eyes lit up, as if it was related to her. She asked, "Wei Eldest Sister, what do you want me to persuade him about?"

Hearing her still call Liu Zheng the same way as when they were children, Wefuqu's eyes flickered with a smile. It seems she found the right person this time.

"I want to ask my cousin sister to persuade the Emperor to immediately make a decision about his queen," she said, and then quickly added, "It's not that I want to interfere with the Emperor's matters, but I heard from my father that some of the ministers are already..."

"Lou Xi interrupted her: "Wei Eldest Sister, Liu Zheng is the Emperor. Whether or not he decides to have a queen is his affair and has nothing to do with us."

Having said that, she playfully glanced at Wefuqu and curled her lips into a cold smirk, "Or is it that Wei Eldest Sister wants me to persuade Liu Zheng to make you the queen?"

Wefuqu's face flashed with a trace of embarrassment. She hadn't expected Lou Xi to be so direct in speaking her mind, and for a moment, she couldn't think of anything to say back to her.

Lou Xi let go of Chu Wei's hand and stood up to approach her, looking down on her with a smile on her face, but with an expression that was chilling.

"Since Wei Eldest Sister so desires to be the queen, why not let your grandfather and uncle pressure Liu Zheng into making you the queen, just as they forced my father to have me marry Liu Yao?"

Having said that, as if suddenly remembering something, she continued, "It's true, Liu Zheng is not my father's son. He wouldn't care about that so-called family bond. Would you agree, Wei Eldest Sister?"

Wefuqu's face grew darker as she heard this, and her hand in her sleeve unconsciously tightened. She hadn't expected Lou Xi to still harbor resentment towards her grandfather and father.

"Cousin sister Xili, do you have any misunderstandings about my grandfather and father?"

"Misunderstanding?" Lou Xi coldly laughed and reached up to grip her chin. "Wei Fuhu, do you really think I'm stupid enough not to know that you suggested my mother-in-law spread rumors about my love for Chu Yusheng, replacing me with Liu Yao as a marriage hostage to the Western States?"

Wefuqu's face completely changed color, and she turned her head to avoid Lou Xi's grasp. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Let me guess why you would do such a thing," Lou Xi leaned in and smiled at her with an especially gentle expression, "You found out that Liu Zheng cares about me very much, so you wanted to completely eliminate me, right?"

She couldn't remember which words had hurt Wefuqu, but she pushed away Lou Xi and stood up, her voice firm: "I don't know what you're talking about. I have to leave now."

Lou Xi stepped back a few steps to steady herself and looked at her back, her lips curling into a cold smirk: "Entering my princess mansion wasn't so easy to leave."

Wefuqu hadn't yet realized the meaning behind her words, and she was suddenly kicked to the ground by someone and pinned down.

She finally became angry: "Lou Xi, are you mad? You don't fear my grandfather and father?"

Before she could finish her sentence, Lou Xi stepped forward and roughly stepped on her hand: "I was afraid they wouldn't dare to come find me. Now that you're in my hands, I'm sure they will come looking for me soon."

Wefuqu was about to say something when she hadn't even opened her mouth before she saw a figure rush in quickly.

When she saw the person, Lou Xi's lips curled into a handsome smile: "Imperial Astrologer, you finally arrived."
