In August 2023, the Earth's oceans were polluted by a nation without limits.
In November 2038, the pollution spread globally, resulting in the death and disappearance of numerous species. Those that did not die attempted to adapt to the harsh environment changes, leading to mutations in their genes and the appearance of new species.
In January 2043, the number of Earth's life forms plummeted drastically, and the human population experienced a precipitous decline. The average human lifespan fell to 60 years, with this figure continuing to drop. Earth's various resources were depleted rapidly, increasing survival pressures.
Due to the depletion of resources and the dominance of a few Western countries, combined with the changes brought about by biological gene mutations, Earth was ushered in a third global war. This war once again led to a reduction in the human population. Fortunately, this war lasted for a short period, only three years before coming to an end.
The end of the war was not only due to the understanding that continued war would only lead to humanity's extinction, but also because Earth's mutated beasts were increasing in number.
These mutated beasts, also known as genetic beasts, posed a severe threat to human survival.
Villages and towns were continually destroyed by the genetic beasts, and as humans fought for survival and self-defense, the martial arts began to flourish.
In March 2044, the Martial Arts Union of Earth was established.
Martial arts training is too slow, and one's potential is also a determining factor. Some proposed altering human genes to enhance strength.
In February 2046, the Earth Gene Alliance was founded.
In August 2048, the first gene medicine, Semigene Liquid, was produced by the Ocean Gene Corporation. This gene medicine could alter human genes through injection, allowing people to increase their lifespan by 30 years.
In September, the company also researched and developed a gene drug called "Force Gene Kacasi." This drug could double the strength of an ordinary person, making them a top external force martial artist.
In July 2050, the Western Gene Company, through the use of electric eel genes, researched and developed a gene called Shi Taoai that humans could integrate. This gene had an extremely high probability of allowing a person to become an electrifying ability user.
Also starting from this year, humans on Earth have completely embarked on the gene path, resulting in a wider gap between social classes. This has not only changed the landscape of Earth but also altered the way humans survive.
