In the quiet room.
Chen Yun let Zhu Chen take the bronze bell to the side hall.
And asked him to take the troops and generals back to the Underworld to recuperate.
As for whether the spirit soldiers and generals would escape his control once they return to the underworld, he was not at all worried.
Even back when he captured these spirit soldiers and generals, he had already used secret techniques to control four spirit generals at the level of major teachers.
With these four spirit generals in charge, the other spirit soldiers and generals dare not rebel.
Moreover, the underworld is quite dangerous.
Moreover, if the spirit soldiers and generals did not have protection, they would be eradicated by the major hells.
Therefore, he does not believe that these spirit soldiers and generals dare to leave the protection of the copper bell's divine light, so there is no possibility of a rebellion.
After dealing with the matter of the spirit soldiers and generals, Chen Yun continued to inspect the spoils.
In the next moment, he took out a talisman made of black metal.
This peculiar talisman depicted the head of the King of Ghostly Power and was infused with a wisp of black qi.
"Hmm, isn't this the recruitment talisman recorded in the Y mountain sect's sacred text?"
Chen Yun remembered the information on the talisman, "It is said that only the top disciples of the Y mountain sect can handle this talisman. Its function is similar to the soul banner, and it can transform wandering spirits and ghosts into yin soldiers. Moreover, it can hold around 50,000 yin soldiers, which is much stronger than the soul banner, which can only hold up to 15,000 yin soldiers."
This thing was not brought by Yin Wuji at the time.
Chen Yun estimated that the other party, when they came to look for him, might have been holding a belief in certain death, which is why they didn't carry the treasure with them.
Later, Yin Wuhan succeeded as the top disciple of the sect, and it fell into his hands.
The recruitment talisman is a valuable item.
If he had possessed the recruitment talisman before or if the soul banner had not been seized, he could have directly led the spirit soldiers and generals to Xingzhu Sea without wasting time hiding his tracks to get there.
After all, a formation of 10,110 divine soldiers and generals was too big, and if he hadn't hidden his identity at the time, he would have definitely been discovered by Xingzhu Sea.
"With this talisman, when I really join the Godification Battle, I can directly lead troops into battle. Even my disciples can take the recruitment talisman to participate in the battle. It is definitely a powerful artifact with excellent functionality."
Chen Yun was pleased with the recruitment talisman and set it aside.
Continue on.
The subsequent items, with the exception of pills and elixirs that are quite good, have little to no use for me.
The Y mountain sect's pills, talismans, or other items are basically all related to controlling ghosts and spirits and cultivating yin souls.
The yin spirit is a manifestation of the yuan spirit, and the elixirs can help me refine my spirit.
As for the spirit-control talismans.
With the recruitment talisman in hand, these talismans have a reduced impact.
However, it's not like there was nothing gained.
Chen Yun found a door that might be called "Cultivating the Form" in one of them, and it was called "The True Form Secret Technique of Pan Gu."
The Y mountain sect mainly worships Pan Gu, King of Ghostly Power, and God Emperor of Ghostly Immortality, among others. It's not surprising that they possess "The True Form Secret Technique of Pan Gu."
The only thing that piqued Chen Yun's curiosity was that the Y mountain sect, which mainly focuses on cultivating yin spirits, actually had a profound cultivation technique for shaping one's body.
Most importantly, this profound cultivation technique for shaping one's body is also named after Pan Gu.
In Daoist mythology, Pan Gu is one of the embodiments of the Supreme Ancient God.
There is also a saying that Laozi once took the form of Pan Gu, but this Pan Gu did not create the heavens and the earth.
Of course, according to the records in Daoist sutras, Laozi also opened the heavens and created the earth, which is beyond question.
This is not some unfounded claim made by Chen Yun.
This is not a groundless claim by Chen Yun.
The Daoist school has the "Supreme Senior Laozi Opens the Heavens and Earth" sutra, which records: "Only I, Senior Laozi, am still in the void beyond emptiness and solitude, within the realm of mystery and emptiness. It cannot be seen with the eyes nor heard with the ears. If it is said to exist, its form cannot be seen. If it is said to not exist, all things are born from it. Beyond eight boundless regions, gradually starting to separate from each other. It has become subtle below and created a world that became known as Hongwang (Hong being great and Wang being ruler). During Hongwang times, there was no heaven or earth yet; emptiness had not been separated into clear and muddy; within the realm of mystery and emptiness. After Hongwang was established for one age, up to ten thousand eons; Hongwang then separated into a new age called Hunyan (Hun being together and Yan being apart). During Hunyan times, Hunyan was established for one age up to ten thousand years; one hundred years equals eighty-one thousand years; Hunyan then divided into Taichi (Taiching), an era of creation. During Taichi times, Senior Laozi descended from the void as Taichi's mentor".
This directly proves that Laozi once opened the heavens and created the earth.
Furthermore, the "Hunyan Diagram" states: Senior Laozi incarnated during the early stage of Sanhuang (the three emperors) times, known as the Master of Ten Thousand Laws. One record mentions that he was known as the Master of Ten Thousand Laws. Another version refers to him as a Great Daoist Practitioner. During the middle stage of Sanhuang times, he incarnated as Pan Gu and was also known as Mr. Gudai (also pronounced "Gu," which means ancient or old).
Additionally, the "Spring and Autumn Annals" also records that Laozi incarnated as Pan Gu.
Although the records of Laozi taking the form of Pan Gu are less numerous than those of Taishou Tianzun (the Supreme Ancient God),
However, all these records indicate that Laozi indeed has an alias as Pan Gu.
Although one of the emanations of the Supreme Ancient God is Pan Gu, Laozi also takes on the form of Pan Gu, which may seem conflicting. However, it is not.
According to Chen Yun's understanding of the world, a complete world has a "lifespan".
Once the lifespan of the world reaches its end, it will be destroyed, and then it needs to be reopened and created anew.
His understanding is that the original Supreme Ancient God, through his emanation as Pan Gu, opened and created the heavens and the earth. However, the world was destroyed in the past, and Laozi once again opened and created it.
Just like the "Supreme Senior Laozi Opens the Heavens and Earth" sutra records, Laozi was born before the world was formed.
However, the Pan Gu Master that Laozi took on did not open the heavens and create the earth.
Because, according to the "Hunyan Diagram," Laozi took on the form of Mr. Gudai during the middle stage of Sanhuang (the three emperors) times.
The Daoist school has the concept of nine emperors, which are the early stage Sanhuang (the three emperors), middle stage Sanhuang, and later stage Sanhuang.
The early stage Sanhuang refers to who, and no one can say for sure.
The "Hunyuan Canon" says: "At the beginning of the nine emperors, the true character had not yet appeared, and records could not be fully understood."
You should know that Daoist sutras are well-known for their detailed records of deity names and titles.
The records about the early stage Sanhuang are only as detailed as these, and it is easy to imagine how mysterious they must be.
As for the middle stage Sanhuang, that is the Emperor of Heaven, the Emperor of Earth, and the Emperor of Humanity, whose records are similar to those of Fu Xi and Rui Shen. They have a clear lineage and origin.
The Emperor of Heaven is also known as "Tian Ling" (Heavenly Spirit), with a soaring head, scaled body, and thirteen heads. He has five periods and three assistants. He roams under the Kunlun Mountains, rules over the world for 18,000 years, and uses wood as his period marker.
The Emperor of Earth succeeded the Emperor of Heaven and ruled over the world, born in the Xionger Peak and Longmen Mountains. His name was Yue Cheng. He had a single-legged horse-face, and had 11 heads. He determined the stars and divided day and night, using 30 days as the lunar month, and November as the Winter Solstice. He ruled over the world for 8,000 years, using fire as his period marker.
The Emperor of Humanity succeeded the Emperor of Earth and ruled over the world. He was also known as Taihuang (Throne King). He had a dragon body, and his head reached his armpits, with 9 heads. He emerged from the Xingma Mountain in Tianli's country, ruling from Zhongzhou to control eight assistants. He rode six feathers, established policies for ruler-subject relations and government education, and ruled over the world for 45,600 years.
The later stage Sanhuang are Fu Xi, Shen Nong, and Huangdi (Emperor Yellow).
Fu Xi was paired with the Emperor of Heaven, Shen Nong with the Emperor of Earth, and Huangdi with the Emperor of Humanity.
These are nothing special.
From the information available, it appears that during the middle stage Sanhuang period, the world had already been opened and created, and entered its normal order of things.
Therefore, the Pan Gu Master that Laozi took on did not open the heavens and create the earth.
As for Laozi opening the heavens and creating the earth, Chen Yun's understanding is that Laozi may have been a cultivator from the previous world, or several previous worlds, who eventually cultivated to the point of merging with the Dao and became one of the Three Treasures Celestial Masters.
Now, there is an important question. The Pan Gu mentioned in this "The True Form Secret Technique of Pan Gu" is referring to the "mask" of the Supreme Ancient God, or the "mask" of Laozi?
This is a crucial question.
From the many analyses before, it is evident that the Pan Gu emanated by the Supreme Ancient God is clearly more powerful, since he could open the heavens and create the earth.
Therefore, if the Pan Gu mentioned in this "The True Form Secret Technique of Pan Gu" refers to the emanation of the Supreme Ancient God, then this cultivation technique for shaping one's body would be very precious.
No, it cannot be described as merely precious. It is simply boundless and great.
If it refers to the Pan Gu Master emanated by Laozi, then this method for shaping one's form is also precious, but not to the extent of being boundless and immeasurable.
"Hopefully, there is a connection with the Pan Gu emanated by the Supreme Ancient God."
Chen Yun silently prayed and flipped through this peculiar "Qi" composed book.
As soon as it was opened, the book pages emitted lines of clear Qi composed characters.
These character lines, to be honest, Chen Yun cannot understand them.
"Eh..." He was a bit puzzled, "What kind of script is this? I remember that there isn't any script like this."
Could it be... The characters displayed in this book are not the written language of this world, but from a previous one?
If it really is as I speculated, then Chen Yun can definitely say that the Pan Gu mentioned in this "The True Form Secret Technique of Pan Gu" refers to the Great Pan Gu, rather than the mask of Laozi.
Because Laozi took the form of Pan Gu Master, it was an event that occurred within this realm, and it would not be possible to record it using the written language of the previous world.
Of course, this is only a guess of my own.
There are countless written languages in all the heavens and realms.
Who knows if it could be the written language of a smaller or mid-sized world?
Chen Yun pondered for a while and decided to temporarily put the cultivation method for shaping one's body aside.
Turning back, he will see if there's a chance to find Lǚ Dòngbīn, Hé Xiāngū, and others, and ask if they understand this kind of script.
The things that are mainly worth paying attention to in the Yin Mountain Sect are about these.
"Maybe it's because my cultivation has improved, and the good things I obtain have become more numerous. Therefore, some things that I used to look up to, I now find a bit beneath my eyes."
Chen Yun slightly shook his head, knowing that it wasn't because the good things in the Yin Mountain Sect were scarce, but because his own vision was too high.
It can be said that now, the things that catch his eye might be considered as treasured items that could serve as the foundation of many smaller and medium-sized sects.
How many can a sect have as its founding treasures?
Of course, it seems that the harvest is not very large.
Actually, Chen Yun himself understands that this trip has been quite fruitful.
After all, he has almost emptied the entire Yin Mountain Sect, so how could the harvest not be significant?
However, most of the harvest is not suitable for himself, probably only for the disciples and pupils of the sect to use.
"All right, let's see what we've got on the other side of the Xingxiu Sea."
Chen Yun immediately recalled the Nanning Lixi flag of Xuanzhen Zi and the five divine swords, which can release Five Elements Sword Qi, controlled by Madame Dongmiao.
"I remember that those two treasures gave Xuanzhen Zi and Madame Dongmiao the ability to challenge enemies beyond their level."
While taking out the Nanming Lixia flag and the five elements swords, Chen Yun secretly thought: "Even though Xuanzhen Zi and Madame Dongmiao are only at the early stage of the Master level, with these two precious treasures, they can withstand even an opponent who is comparable to a late Master level or a mid-level Demon Lord, which is incredibly incredible."
Why is it said to be incredible?
Because once one reaches the Master level, there is a huge gap in power between each minor realm.
Let's take inner cultivation as an example.
Just starting to enter the Master level, you might not have passed even one of the three hurdles, barely refining the essence of the pill, while others might not have refined their qi at all.
However, at the mid-stage, you must have passed at least one hurdle and refined a considerable amount of immortal essence.
You could say that, at the mid-stage of the Master level, one has the power to kill at the early stage.
The later stage of the Master level is even more remarkable.
In the art of refining internal elixirs, it is definitely someone who has passed the second stage.
That's like a half-immortal being.
The body gradually becomes "immortalized".
The true Qi within the body is mostly transformed into immortal Qi.
Possessing the powerful ability to kill opponents at the mid-stage of the Master level.
Although Jiaolong is at the mid-stage of the Master level, he is a naturally born divine beast.
He can almost fully demonstrate the power of a late-stage Master level human.
Baxi is a great ominous demon, far more powerful than a human of the same realm.
Imagine Xuanzhen Zi and Madame Dongmiao facing two formidable opponents who are comparable to late-stage Master level individuals, yet they are able to fight back.
Even Xuanzhen Zi was able to secretly suppress the actual appearance of Jiaolong.
It can be imagined how incredible these two treasures are.
"If these two treasures really have the ability to challenge enemies beyond their level, as I guessed, then, combined with my second Dao Qi manifestation, a Dao Body, I dare not say that I can challenge actual immortals, but at least in the Master realm, even if someone holds a powerful treasure, I have the confidence to defeat them!"
Chen Yun looks forward to these two treasures with great anticipation.
He really wants to know if these two treasures have the ability to challenge enemies beyond their level?
Or whether Xuanzhen Zi and Madame Dongmiao have some secret method of challenging enemies beyond their level?
I hope it's the contribution of these two treasures.
