Chapter 1143: War (Part 3)

Genres:Sci-Fi and Supernatural Last update:25/03/21 12:28:34
Aside from the first Wizard War, there hasn't been such a massive collision of wizard armies in the global magical world for nearly half a century!

In an instant, the sky changed color, and the earth shook and mountains trembled!

The violent disturbance of magic in the empty world has triggered terrifying natural phenomena.

Instantly, fierce gales erupted between heaven and earth, and the sky reformed its dark clouds at a visible speed.

One brilliant lightning bolt after another descended, as if the thunder god himself was present, wielding a thunderbolt whip to strike the earth!

The explosion caused by the spell, the collapse of the remaining buildings, the excited roars and terrible howls of wizards filled the whole world!

Someone was injured every second, and someone died every second!

Amputated limbs and broken bodies littered the broken walls and ruins, while the pouring rain from the sky also washed away the blood on the ground.

    Roar!

Hagrid roared and charged towards the remaining few giants.

The death of his own kind saddened Hagrid, but what he feared more was the slaughter of wizards by his own people!

And among the Ministry's troops, there were few wizards capable of taking on a giant single-handedly.

But just as there is a huge difference between these mountain giants and Titan giants, the hybrid Hagrid and pure-blood giants also have a huge power comparison.

His clumsy magic couldn't break through the giant's skin, and relatively effective was the power of muscles.

Hagrid roared and charged into the embrace of a giant, the force of the collision sending the giant's massive body sliding across the ground for several feet.

    Urgh!

But soon, stabilizing his body, the giant clasped Hagrid's neck with both hands and roared, lifting him up directly.

A strong feeling of asphyxiation overwhelmed Hagrid's consciousness. His insect-like dark eyes rolled up, exposing the whites, and his legs kicked frantically but were unable to free himself.

Just as Hagrid was about to die on the spot, the crazy-eyed man who had knocked out the old Nott discovered Hagrid's plight. He quickly jumped over a gorge and flicked his wand with a green light!

This time, the crazy-eyed man learned from his previous mistakes. He waved his wand continuously, sending three fatal curses through the somber rain curtain, striking the giant that had a grip on Hagrid's throat.

    Bang!

The giant fell directly on the ground, carving a deep mud pit.

    Gag--

    Hagrid gagged immediately after landing.

    "Alastor. Cough, cough, thanks!"

"Be careful, Hagrid. They won't take you for one of their own!"

Mudge roared, and his magic eye turned, immediately spotting Grawp fighting another giant in a different direction.

    "You go help Grawp, Hagrid!"

Alastor said that he dodged a few missed curses and rushed towards a battlefield.

Sirius Black and Antonin Dolohov were fighting at one spot.

The two of them looked at each other with a fierce glint in their eyes, fighting from the top of a hill to the bottom, determined to kill each other!

Alastor's magic eye quivered a few times, and he immediately spotted him among the numerous swaying figures.

    Whoosh!

Alastor pointed his wand, and a stone slab erupted with over ten twisted iron bars like snakes, plunging into Anthony Dolohoff's body.

This ruthless Death Eater stepped back a few steps and then whipped his wand, causing Alastor's iron bars to melt in a shower of sparks.

Seeing that he had temporarily driven back Dolohoff, Alastor pulled Sirius Black, who was preparing to charge, and stopped him.

"I'll deal with him, Sirius, go see what Malfour is up to!"

He then pointed a direction to Sirius.

"Oh, I'm going to kill him!"

Sirius said with a bit of dissatisfaction,

"Why don't you go yourself, Alastor!"

"Because my legs and feet aren't as nimble as yours, idiot!"

Mudge roared, shoving Sirius out and flicking his wand in the air to cast a series of spells, forcing Anthony Dolohoff to scramble.

Sirius scowled and reluctantly gave up on Dolohoff, running off in the direction Alastor had pointed.

"You this ruthless butcher, I'm going to find you!"

As Sirius ran up a stretch of flat pebbly path, a furious roar echoed in his ear.

He turned his head and saw the usually good-tempered Arthur desperately struggling through the mud, fighting his way towards Dolohoff.

After a sigh, Sirius picked up his pace.

"You can't kill me, you can't kill me!"

A few steps later, Bellatrix's shrill laughter drew Sirius' attention again.

It is not an overstatement to describe the enmity between Frank and Alice and Bellatrix as a blood feud.

This couple, known for their gentle dispositions, now both had pale green complexions and murderous eyes, striking out with brutal ferocity!

However, it must be admitted that individually, neither Frank nor Alice could be a match for Bellatrix. Moreover, the years of drowsiness had greatly affected their magic, and even when they fought together, they could only barely surpass Bellatrix.

Sirius wanted to abandon Alastor's orders and help the Longbottoms as a couple, but in the end, he resisted this urge!

Turning his head, Sirius continued chasing Lucius Malfoy.

    Boom!

The last remaining giant on the battlefield finally fell with a heavy thud, spilling blood on the spot as they died.

Hagrid's blood-stained, water-rinse-away dirt looked far from happy after his victory. On the contrary, Hagrid wiped his face with his big fan-like hands, weeping sadly.

Grawp was about to comfort him when a cry of pain drew his gaze elsewhere.

    "Emily!"

A dignified witch was flung out of the explosion and fell heavily into the mud.

In the flash of the lightning, Grawp saw the pale face of the witch, her eyes still open but lifeless.

The anger surging up in him shattered Grawp's calm, and his face was terrifying. He picked up his wand and charged towards the two of them, laughing loudly and happily - Alec Trevelyan and Amikus Trevelyan!

Diagon Alley turned into a bloody battlefield, and the battle situation remained tight!

The army of dark wizards led by the Death Eaters did not have a steadfast belief in their Dark Lord, and most of the people brought by Slughorn and Grawp were newcomers from the expanded hand-to-hand combat team, none of whom could be considered elite.

    Both sides suffered heavy casualties!

    "Where are you going, Black!"

Drenched to the skin, Sirius kept darting and dodging as the spells whizzed past him. His gray eyes locked onto the black-cloaked wizard who finally stopped. He stood there bizarrely, tilting his head as if listening to something, before suddenly acting and waving his wand to clear away the piled-up rubble.

Sirius set aside his thoughts for a moment, taking a few deep breaths before he was ready to charge. But just as he was about to go, another black-cloaked wizard appeared and blocked his way.

    "Who are you!"

    Sirius bellowed.

"Saying one's name to someone who is about to die is pointless."

    The Death Eater replied.

Thus, another fierce battle found Sirius.

The spells piercing through the rainstorm were like meteors streaking across the sky.

    Urgh!

A spell light whizzed past Sirius' shoulder, and he immediately had blood gushing out of it.

With a piercing pain, just as Sirius' body leaned backward, a spell he flung out hit the person's mask.

    "Hmm, Grindelwald!"

Seeing the man's face, Sirius let out a cold laugh. He wanted to say something, but the pain on his shoulder made him unable to speak, forcing him to grunt in discomfort.

Revealing his face means exposing himself.

Grindelwald's dignified face twisted as he was about to execute this scoundrel who had besmirched the honor of a pureblood family, but suddenly a meddler jumped out.

"You're in for a big trouble, Mr. Grindelwald!"

Delphine Delgado wiped the rainwater off her face and sharply called out, throwing a bottle to Sirius,

"Attend to your injuries first, Sirius!"

    "Thank you, Delphine!"

Sirius single-handedly caught the glass bottle from the air, took out the cork with his teeth, and poured all the drug into the wound.

The cool sensation immediately relieved the pain, and Sirius raised his wand to his shoulder, where torn flesh began to sew itself back together.

    A cup.

    A golden cup.

    Something like a notebook.

    Who can stop it?

Malfoy knew that the Dark Lord was watching. He sluggishly waved his wand, opening one stone after another, searching through the dim coins with anxiety and anticipation.

    "Don't move, Malfoy!"

Just as the sight of a refined, solid gold handle and a cup carved with a hog appeared before his eyes, a low, menacing voice echoed behind Malfoy, causing him to secretly breathe a sigh of relief in his heart!
