Clang, clang, clang-clang!
With a heavy thud, one after another cage, engulfed in golden flames, appeared from nowhere and imprisoned a group of previously vigilant guarders of the judgment chamber, including Fudge, Umbridge, and Delphi!
Almastus Breganza is planning something.
Even the members of the Wizengamot are shocked, let alone those from the Order of the Phoenix who rush in. They all stare at Almastus in terror, waiting for him to explain his actions!
"Good, good!"
Fudge let out a shrill cry, like a frightened chicken. He curled up his body, too afraid to touch the cage that held him.
"Your true form revealed, isn't it? Breganza, you have long been plotting to overthrow the Ministry of Magic. Now. Huh, huh!"
Fudge shouted towards Dumbledore.
"I told you, Dumbledore, isn't he? This young man you have brought to us has always had ambition. What is he up to!"
"Cornelius—"
At last, Almastus did not launch a massacre. Dumbledore below the steps took a deep breath of relief, a feeling he had not experienced for a long time.
Turning around, Dumbledore faced the imprisoned Minister of Magic with a face of sorrow.
"I have also warned you, Cornelius, not to be too obsessed with power, it will make you lose yourself. Your present situation is precisely because you are bewitched by power."
"I don't understand what you're saying, Dumbledore, but if you still have a bit of conscience!"
Fudge seems to have not realized the severity of the problem. Perhaps, he just doesn't want to face it.
He roared at Dumbledore angrily,
"Then take control of Breganza for the Ministry of Magic! I know you can do it, Dumbledore. You are tolerating a dark wizard more evil than Voldemort, who is destroying the order we have so hard to build!"
Dumbledore only shook his head slightly. The people from the Order of the Phoenix could all feel the declining aura emanating from him.
"Almastus."
Sirius Black arrived at Harry's side first. While Dumbledore and Fudge were facing off, he quietly asked Harry what had happened here, but Harry's emerald eyes were fixed and motionless, as if he had been frightened into silence.
Observing the three wizard apprentices' shocked expressions, Remus knew that something significant had happened in the Wizengamot chamber within the hour. With a hesitation, he looked at Almastus and whispered,
"I fully understand your desire to take revenge for Harry and the others, but. Imprison—imprison—"
Remus looked uneasefully.
"--Imprisoning the Minister and the Aurors seems like not a proper behavior."
Huh!
Almastus waved his wand to repair the broken door of the Wizengamot chamber, then, with a calm expression, pointed his wand at the cursing Fudge and Umbridge within the flame-filled cage. Immediately, both of them found that they could no longer make any sound.
"Almastas."
Amelia also felt uneasy after witnessing these events.
She glanced at Dumbledore, who seemed to be giving his tacit approval, paused for a moment, and then spoke.
"I know that Cornelius just ordered the Dementors and Aurors to attack you without any justification, and I fully understand your anger, but."
"Amelia--"
Almastus interrupted Amelia as she tried to persuade him to release them.
"Next, I would like you to continue the trial as the former Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge."
The former Minister of Magic?!
Fudge in the cage had his eyes bulging wildly, his expression like that of a demon!
Continue the trial?!
Just in the past confusion, the members of the Wizengamot hidden in various corners of the judgment chamber all stopped talking.
Compared to the current situation, even if Harry Potter really killed a few Muggles, it wouldn't be anything!
"Continue the trial."
Even Amelia was hesitant.
"Of course--"
Almastas turned around and looked around the room, gazing at the wizards who dared not meet his gaze. He had a calm expression, and the sharpness he had just shown was gone.
"Whether Muggles or wizards, the peaceful lives that the two groups of people can enjoy are based on a stable judicial system. I want to tell everyone that I have no intention of using brute force to override the law."
The members of the Wizengamot exchanged cautious glances, expressing doubt about Almastas Breganza's statement.
Amelia still had a furrowed brow, but Almastas' calm demeanor still made her decide to proceed.
"Alright."
Amelia adjusted her monocle.
"In the midst of chaos, you mentioned something about evidence related to the case where Harry James Potter killed a Muggle postman"
"Kill a Muggle postman?"
Sirius Black stared in shock at Harry.
"Is this true? That's the reason the Ministry of Magic is pressing charges against you?"
"Sirius--"
Almastas called out,
"If you're interested, you can sit and watch on the side. All members of the Wizengamot, I hope you will return to your seats. Aurors, the rest of you can watch."
The situation is stronger than the person.
Even some who urgently hoped to stay away from the storm center dared not raise their voices, after all, Breganza still had his wand in hand.
Huh--
Fudge and Umbridge in the flame-filled cage were moved by Almastas to the back of three judgment chairs, and the few Aurors loyal to them were neatly arranged by Almastas.
"Almastas, now you can present your evidence."
Amelia stood in the position where Fudge had just been, solemnly said.
"Just now, a responsible person from the Auror Office recounted to you all the process of Harry James Potter's murder of a Muggle postman, who died beneath a chocolate frog."
Almastas turned around and looked at Fudge and Umbridge, who were staring at him with malicious glances.
"It is fortunate that there is another Muggle who witnessed the death of the Muggle postman."
The courtroom was deathly silent as everyone struggled to process Almastas' words.
Just then, Fudge and Umbridge, who had been staring at Almastas with resentment, suddenly became stiff, silent for a few seconds before abruptly turning their gaze to Delphi, who looked like a statue. Their expressions were almost as if they wanted to tear Delphi apart!
"Someone witnessed it?"
Amelia was also greatly surprised. After a moment of daze, she immediately asked,
"That Muggle is your evidence?"
Almastas slightly nodded his head. He raised his arm and waved his wand in the air, causing the image of Lawrence gradually to appear from nothingness.
Compared to before, Lawrence looked particularly disheveled.
His white hair was dripping wet on top of his head, and his neat clothes were completely soaked with sweat. His old face was covered with alarm!
Having witnessed everything with Almastas and Dumbledore entering the Wizengamot chamber, Lawrence could not fail to realize that Almastas had initiated a coup in the magical world!
"You are."
Harry blinked for a moment, then jumped off the bench in alarm.
"Are you Lawrence from Brenhouse?"
"Oh yes, you haven't mistaken me—-"
Lawrence awkwardly smiled at Harry.
"Do you remember me, the nephew of Vernon?"
"Of course, I do!"
Harry immediately said.
"You're really unlucky, kid--"
Lawrence wiped the sweat that had slipped down his brow and said with a wry smile.
A muggle appeared in the Wizengamot chamber, and many of the judges had furrowed their brows in their minds.
Breganza's actions without prior approval and permission were quite improper. However, no one dared to touch Almastas' bad luck now!
"This Mr. Lawrence is the butler of the muggle company boss who employed the head of the muggle family that Harry Potter grew up in, so they knew each other."
Almastas calmly explained the reason why Harry Potter knew this witness.
Amelia nodded, her furrowed brows relaxed.
"That's indeed a fortunate coincidence. So, according to Almastas Breganza, Lawrence, did you witness something?"
"Yes, respected lady. And the jury--"
Lawrence immediately straightened up, bowing to Amelia on the high platform in a respectful manner.
"I remember very clearly. It was on January 28th. It was raining heavily that day; I was invited to a thank-you banquet at Has Orphanage because I had donated some money to the orphanage before."
