Chapter 1088 - Amos'ta's Doubts

Genres:Sci-Fi and Supernatural Last update:25/03/21 12:27:01
A soul monster in the semi-air extends a gigantic hand, composed of countless twisted faces, and tightens it around Amostar in front of everyone's horror-filled gazes.

In an instant, the hearts of the crowd in the United States Magic Council plummeted to the depths. Influenced by Greyvis, even Celenia, who had always been disliked by Amostar·Bryan, was submerged by a wave of despair. Stunned, she looked at countless faces that were howling with madness and regret biting like poisonous snakes into her heart.

For a long time, the person she admired and regarded as a deity, Trak Greyvis, was a dark wizard who gave up his faith and violated the law in order to survive.

She believed that more restrictions should be placed on powerful wizards like Amostar Bryan who challenge the system. For a while, Amostar Bryan, who had been unjustly treated, had not held any grudge against them. Instead, he was compensating for the great disaster caused by Greyvis and fighting for the safety of the American magical world and its people, only to encounter...

A glimmer of tears appeared in Celenia's eyes, and in that moment, she genuinely acknowledged Amostar Bryan's status as the most powerful wizard of his time and Vice Chairman of the International Wizards Federation!

    "No."

The world, which had fallen silent, suddenly broke the silence. Amilia trembled all over and her heart was overwhelmed with endless pain. She even ignored some suppression and spoke out.

Gazing fixately at the tightly clenched fist of the phantom above, Amelia's tears fell like a curtain!

    This is too unfair!

The unfairness of fate towards Amostar is too great!

    Extremely sad, Amelia sobbed.

This man was abandoned by his parents from birth, with no one to rely on, penniless and destitute. He stood at the peak of the wizarding world entirely through his own efforts.

He should have hated the world, but he didn't. Throughout his life, Amostar has steadfastly fought against the dark forces and eventually gained the respect of the world!

Amostar is a kind-hearted person, and Amelia, who has been with him for these days, is absolutely convinced of this.

He clearly possesses limitless power in the wizarding world, yet he has always restrained himself.

He could have ignored the unfair treatment he received from the Magical Council, but he always tried to follow the rules. He could have ignored his own parents because of his past experiences, but he chose to try his best to be kind.

Most importantly, he could have ignored the trouble caused by Greyvis, but tonight, he ultimately stood here - fighting to protect these people!

Despair and sadness lingered over all hearts, except for Star's.

When Sirius finally reacted a bit after several attempts to shake off the enchantment that had bound his magic. This strange magic, binding everyone, plunging the world into a pale enchantment. If he hadn't been mistaken just now, this should be from Amostar or Dumbledore!

As Fox was reborn, the power that Dumbledore had taken over it had dissipated, but the binding force that held them had not. This seemed to mean...

At this moment, the sky above the group suddenly changed!

    A beam of light

In this colorless, pale world where everything was desolate, a beam of milky light suddenly erupted from the fingers of the monster. The glow was pristine and faultless, like the warm light of heaven, offering boundless hope!

The monster, feeling triumphant and wild, paused in its actions. Stunned, it looked in confusion at the milky light erupting from its hand one after another, unable to understand what was happening.

    Buzz—

Suddenly, an indescribable pressure descended from the sky, shaking every inch of air in the condensed space under this unusual pressure, as if a sacred saint was brewing within the milky halo!

    Roar!

The vampire forefather, whose body was formed by a complex mixture of hedonistic souls, suddenly shrieked in agony. Thousands of sharp sounds mingled together, creating ripples in the seemingly unshakeable world's air. This also weakened the strange space's binding force. Amelia found that she could speak again.

    "Amostar!"

Amilia's beautiful face was still speckled with tears, and she shouted excitedly.

    "Amostar!"

All that had happened filled Sirius with a sense of elation and emotion, and he shouted excitedly upwards as well!

    "Mr. Bryan!"

    "Judge this monster, Mr. Bryan!"

"Don't let him off the hook, Mr. Bryan!"

The shouts of Amelia and Sirius ignited the signal, and the waves of shouting voices gave life and color to this pale world trapped in enchantment!

    Roar!

The monster's roar was filled with pain that could not be suppressed. Under the excited gaze of the crowd, the milky halo that blossomed from the monster's grasp around Amostar, which formed the palm and its malevolent essence, melted away like snow under spring sunshine. Soon, the holy light ball finally appeared in its entirety to everyone.

As the sacred, dazzling light dimmed slightly, and the silhouette at the center of the glow could be seen through, the ground erupted in a series of cheers, only to pause oddly. The excited eyes of the crowd turned confused.

The figure surrounded by the milky halo was not Amostar, but a magical creature - a long snake with black and white wings.

    "Oh, that is!"

Blinking in confusion, Sirius suddenly came to his senses.

Sirius had seen this magical creature before. It was during the time when his innocence had not been cleared and he was still being hunted by the Ministry of Magic.

Sirius had snuck into Hogwarts to watch Harry's Quidditch match, but the Dementors guarding Hogwarts suddenly went wild and rushed into the campus. To drive away the Dementors, Amostar unleashed his protective charm. A colossal guardian spirit that was beyond comprehension, it was a strange snake with black and white wings!

Gazing at the strange snake in the glow, the faces attached to the soul monster showed expressions of fear. They realized that it was a complete, pure, and overwhelmingly powerful soul. Such a perfect and flawless soul was akin to an archenemy to them!

Fear and apprehension appeared on every twisted face, even threatening to break the body of the monstrous soul monster.

The spirit snake in the glow also detected the retreat of the residual souls in time. It stretched its body and flapped its wings slightly behind it --

With a wave of invisible power sweeping out, within the vast space centered around Amostar, numerous golden points of light suddenly appeared from nothingness. They were scattered throughout the space, resembling stars in the deep universe, seemingly without any order. However, there was some mysterious connection between them.

As the numerous golden points began to shimmer, the pale space around them suddenly dyed with a faint scarlet hue. In the area encompassed by the scarlet glow, it seemed as if there existed an unyielding heat that was able to twist space itself!

The souls that fire could not destroy let out blood-curdling screams one after another. Under this higher-level power, they melted away rapidly, layer by layer, their form shrinking at a speed visible to the eye until finally revealing a deep red and black, liquid-like core.

As the core was also exhausted within the realm constructed by the golden points --

    Bang!

As if they had lost their source of power, the numerous golden points suddenly exploded, turning into a dazzling cascade of fluorescence that made everyone's eyes blurry. The serpent in the milky halo also reverted back to Amostar's body, looking unharmed but with deep exhaustion etched into his face, as if he hadn't slept for several nights.

    "Yet another failure."

Looking at the unstable magical nodes that had dispersed and the fading fluorescence, Amostar pondered, "Again." Only after the dissipating fluorescence completely vanished did Amostar notice the dissipated vampire ancestor, and raised his eyelids in a daze.

"Oh, I forgot to ask its name."
