After the second game, four months passed in a blink of an eye, and finally, the final match of the top three championship arrived.
Since the early morning, people have been gradually gathering at the viewing platform across from the final match venue.
Even though the current situation in the magical world is unstable, there are still many people who are willing to support this match.
As Harry, Hermione, and Ron descended from the upper floors to the dining hall for breakfast, their eyes were immediately struck by some people standing in the foyer, which caused the three of them to look surprised.
Sirius Black and Remus -- their appearance was exactly what Harry had expected, as Harry had written a letter to his godfather telling him that he would be participating in the third project.
However, seeing the two close friends of his father in front of him, Harry was overwhelmed with overwhelming joy.
And the arrival of the Weasley couple and Bill completely exceeded their expectations.
"Surprising, isn't it?"
Mrs. Weasley was the first to spot them coming down from upstairs. She pushed Sirius aside and rushed over to them. Before Harry and his friends could say anything, she gave each of them a hug in turn.
"Oh, you're nearly choking me, Mom!"
Ron was the last to be hugged, and he coughed twice, speaking in a strange tone. "After all," he said, looking over his mother's shoulder at his father with a smile on his face.
"Are you here to watch the competition, Dad?"
"Amos told us in a letter to come and watch the competition, and he also told us that you were about to perform. Knowing that, we made the decision right away to come to Hogwarts to see the match."
Mr. Weasley smiled at Ron and said.
"We also wrote to Charlie, telling him about this, but those dragons can't leave him. He asked me to say sorry to you, as for Percy--"
Bill shrugged and explained,
"You know his style, Ron,"
"It's not Percy's fault--"
Honest Remus said with a smile,
"You've already known that he's become my assistant. I can't be there, and Amyliya has come to Hogwarts as well. There has to be someone who can handle emergency situations at the workshop."
Amyliya
Harry's gaze naturally fell on the beautiful girl standing beside Sirius, and his mouth opened slightly in surprise.
If he didn't remember wrong, this girl seemed to be a wizard from the American magical community. How could she come to Britain, and moreover, according to Remus' tone, it seemed that she had entered the learning workshop.
The girl gave them a restrained smile, as if she was nervous about the surrounding environment.
And after Harry and Hermione returned a similar smile, Harry jumped down the steps and gave a hug to Sirius who was coming towards them.
"How does it feel?"
Sirius affectionately rubbed Harry's unruly black hair and said with a smile,
"This is a unprecedented grand event, like the Quidditch World Cup final. You might be feeling a bit out of place, wouldn't you?"
"Well, actually, it's not too bad--"
Harry said, but his not very loud voice indicated that he was also a bit nervous.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Weasley finally let go of Ron, taking a close look at his cheeks for a few moments, and then pulled Harry in for a second inspection.
"You two look a bit thin!"
Anger flashed in Mrs. Weasley's round face,
"It's all that stupid bloke's fault."
"Moley."
Mr. Weasley gently interrupted Mrs. Weasley's complaints with a gentle voice,
"Since this matter has been resolved, let's just let it go. Besides, they're about to step onto the battlefield, and we shouldn't create any negative emotions for them at this time."
This was a reason that Mrs. Weasley couldn't argue against. She took a deep breath and let a smile bloom back onto her face.
"Well, okay, your dad is right. You must not have had breakfast yet, that can't do. You have an intense match to deal with!"
So, surrounded by a group of people, Harry and his friends were ushered into the dining hall.
Frankly speaking, in this situation, they had no appetite at all. Even Ron, who liked to use food as a form of stress relief, couldn't eat even a roasted sausage when he realized that he had less than two hours to go before he stepped onto the field and his figure would be seen by the entire European magical community.
"That can't do--"
Mrs. Weasley frowned as she watched Ron, who was holding a small cup of pumpkin juice and biting it nervously, with shaking legs.
"Fred and George, as well as Ginny, are not as nervous as you, Ron. Your two brothers even carried a bag of sausage meat into the forest."
"Oh, they certainly have an appetite because they don't have to worry about performing in front of tens of thousands of wizards."
Ron muttered, but his words were interrupted by Hermione's sudden and sharp voice that rose suddenly.
"Into the forest?"
Hermione was shocked, her eyes wide with astonishment as she stared at Mrs. Weasley.
"Mrs. Weasley, just now you said that Fred, George, and Ginny went into the forest. But they went there to do what? That's not the site of the third project competition, is it?"
Click!
Harry's hand released the bread slice, his mouth falling open in a shockingly wide gape, his expression one of confusion and a touch of panic.
"Well, you're still not aware?"
Seeing his expression, Sirius was also somewhat surprised and said,
"Amodestus took quite a few students into the Forbidden Forest early this morning; they are all students from the sports class he teaches. He told us that those students are one of the examiners for the bravos and assistants."
Ron's expression turned from bad to worse at an alarming speed, and he sighed sadly.
"Can we switch assistants now, Hermione?"
If it were any other time, Ron's despondent tone would have surely met Hermione's criticism, but now, Hermione's face, which had quickly lost its color, looked equally as bad.
"The truth is revealed."
Harry said 'desperately,'
"Why it's no wonder Professor Breaun wanted a bravos to have assistants; Hermione, Fred, George, and Ginny wouldn't say anything about the sports class final exam. Maybe their exam was supposed to be eliminate us in the competition?"
"Very likely, Harry."
Hermione's lips trembled, and she panted.
The three individuals about to compete exchanged glances, all with expressions of utter boredom.
"This challenge seems so terrifying?"
Harry's trio of conversation made Sirius show a strange expression of laughter and sadness,
"Is it scarier than fire dragons and mermaids? Oh, the heads of Hogwarts and Beauxbatons have seen those young witches in the Forbidden Forest too, and they seem rather relaxed."
"That's because they don't understand, Sirius!"
Harry's emotions were clearly becoming agitated.
"If they knew what we were training for in the sports class, in Professor Breaun's mind, they would see that the chance of winning this challenge is nearly zero!"
Sirius and Remus exchanged a look, then Sirius smiled silently for a few seconds.
"If that's the case, what are you planning to do? Will you give up?"
Give up?
The three people who were in a state of extreme anxiety did not say anything.
Giving up is impossible. They didn't want to be labeled as cowards by others.
"I believe Amodestus has set such a challenge because he knows your abilities."
Amyliya suddenly spoke,
"Doesn't he know that he can't let you face opponents that you can't beat?"
"Cheer up, lassies and lads!"
Mr. Weasley smiled.
"It's too early to lose faith now, we'll see what the competition rules are once Mr. Amodestus reveals them. And besides, you guys have a clear advantage, don't you?"
"Advantage?"
Ron's lips turned white.
"I don't see where our advantage is."
"At least, the bravos from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang haven't yet realized that the unassuming opponents Mr. Amodestus has found for them are actually quite fearsome."
Mr. Weasley's words made Harry, Ron, and Hermione furrow their brows slightly.
"Is that considered an advantage, Sirius?"
Harry asked.
"Of course, doesn't he teach you guys?"
Sirius gave Harry an encouraging smile,
"Knowing your opponent is a prerequisite for victory."
