Chapter 977: Return to Hogwarts

In the time of yore, true ascetics, after their soul power breaches a certain boundary, needed to entrust their soul power in 'the world of jellyfish' to achieve the aim of continuously calling forth magic power without end.

However, after 'the world of jellyfish' moved away from Earth, wizards could no longer form a contract with it, achieving the might of the powerful wizards of the ancient era that could move mountains and fill in seas with a single hand. Moreover, as magic power in the Earth's natural environment gradually dissipated into the universe, the upper limit of wizards kept dropping.

Nowadays, even the weakest wizard is not much stronger than a Muggle.

A millennium ago, 'the world of jellyfish' was already separated from Earth by star seas. Therefore, the four great powers sought to create a new path. By accommodating massive magic power, isolating the environment from corrupting the souls and bodies, and imprinting magical origin as 'practical magic writing' in the spiritual world, they formed so-called 'realms' to achieve the means of their powers comparable to that of a saint.

This explanation was known to Amortha from the memories of the four great powers. For quite some time, he has been researching the specific methods of forming 'realms', and he has also tried it in practice.

More than a month ago, during his encounter with that 'vampire ancestor', when his usual fiery curses failed to cause any substantial harm to it, Amortha briefly unleashed his soul power and used it to build his own realm.

It was very difficult. After the short appearance of his soul, it had to return to his body. The 'Fiery Domain' he constructed, although it emitted satisfactory energy and directly melted those remaining souls, also collapsed due to its instability.

The lava surface has not yet faded, but is rapidly cooling. In just a few seconds, the scorching surface has turned black, with only deep cracks still emitting eye-catching crimson light.

Amortha no longer paid attention to the lava lake beneath him, focusing his entire attention on the 'starlit sky' enveloping him.

Each of the thousands of lush green gems emitted brilliant, dazzling light. Along with the movement of the gems, an incredible, all-encompassing connection was being established among the hundreds of gems.

Amortha slowly drifted away from the confines of his realm and flew around the green 'star domain', observing this sprawling structure that included over a hundred magic nodes and was complex in design to the point of awe.

This configuration is the foundational structure of Salazar Slytherin's own domain, encompassing his deepest understanding of magic!

Finally, when the last magic node connected with the entire structure, the instant all the magic channels in the corridor were completed, the entire complex structure faintly shook. A faint emerald light emerged from the void, enveloping the structure, like a magnificent nebula.

Amortha, having studied and practiced the realm, knew that this was the complete construction process of a realm.

Amortha stopped in mid-vacuum, gazing at the magnificent nebula. Suddenly, he raised his wand, and a golden fireball shot out from the tip, rushing into the thin nebula.

The fireball did not shatter the nebula, nor did it pass through the nebula, but simply disappeared!

Amortha's eyes flickered with light, and he raised his hand again to shoot a ball of Fiery Fire into the nebula. Meanwhile, he observed it from multiple dimensions.

The fireball still vanished, and as it merged into the realm, the structure nodes of the realm in the magical vision suddenly brightened. It was as if a computer was analyzing the configuration of the Fiery Fire ball and, in a very short time, constructing a 'key' that could dissolve its structure. This was equivalent to creating a completely new magic within the realm that could perfectly counteract the Fiery Fire!

    Crack——

Amortha released another ball of crimson light surrounded by red lightning into the realm. This was a variation of the Knockout Charm (group fighting version) he had developed from its basic structure. As expected, this magic was also dissolved once it entered the nebula.

    "Impossible—"

Amortha muttered, his eyes full of admiration.

These magic spells did not exist a thousand years ago, but Slytherin's domain could instantly understand the configuration of magic upon contact and

Amortha, like a child who has received an interesting new toy, kept taunting the domain with magic, watching as it dissolved the attacks. And so, he gradually became immersed in it.

When they entered the underground treasure room of Gringotts Bank, it was a bright morning, but when they returned to the majestic and imposing marble hall, the sun had already passed over the highest point in the sky for a while.

Seeing the bright sunshine, the soot-stained Amelia and Bogrod took a deep breath unconsciously, with an expression of having narrowly escaped.

    "So, thank you..."

Amortha nodded towards the old hag with a black face.

" I've checked that underground void, and its structure has been re-solidified by cooled lava. It's quite safe for you to continue using it."

Scared out of his wits, Bogrod didn't know how to respond. He could only bow slightly and say in a hoarse voice,

"It is an honor to serve you, Mr. Brennan."

    "Haha."

After a smile, in the presence of many goblins and guests in the hall, he whispered to Bogrod, "Be careful not to let it out," then led Amelia towards the main gate.

The sweltering heat felt refreshing to Amelia's senses. She took several deep breaths, and only then did she realize that as the old, wonderful and interesting shops of Diagon Alley came back into view again, Amelia had just gone through another great adventure.

"Will it keep it a secret?"

As she turned to look at the dazed and confused Bogrod, who had just returned to his workstation, Amelia's beautiful face showed a hint of worry.

"Oh, I personally think it's unlikely——"

Amortha casually glanced at the narrow gap between Gringotts and the nearby shops, smiling without a change in expression.

"But I'm not too concerned about whether it can be kept secret. After all, it's not something that the entity itself wants to keep secret."

Amelia's brow furrowed slightly, but she was quick to understand Amortha's meaning.

"Is it not in danger of harm?"

    "Oh, I think not——"

Amortha said, his gaze falling on Amelia, his expression slightly heavier.

"You haven't had an objective understanding of the British magical world yet, Amelia, so you need to stay vigilant as well. For the next while, you should follow Remus closely. You know he's a cautious wizard who has been through war; his experience can help avoid most risks."

    Amelia nodded gravely.

    "So—"

    Amortha's tone lightened.

"I'm going to board the Hogwarts Express in half an hour, but I hope McGonagall hasn't kicked me out of the teaching team."

The reluctance of departure welled up in Amelia's pure brown eyes, but she managed to control her emotions and nodded slightly.

"What will you do when you return to Hogwarts?"

    "Oh, the Triwizard Tournament——"

After thinking about it, Amortha said in a relaxed tone, "There's less than a month until the Triwizard Tournament. The unexpected appearance of Voldemort has rendered the originally planned competition projects useless, so I'll have to design new ones."

    "Can I watch?"

Amelia immediately became interested and looked at Amortha expectantly.

"Of course, you can come with Sirius and Remus to visit Hogmeade and Hogwarts that you didn't have a chance to see properly——"

    Amortha smiled warmly.

Thinking back to her last smuggling experience, Amelia pursed her lips as well. It was indeed an extraordinary experience for her. After thinking for a moment, Amelia said,

"Give my regards to Dumbledore and the three little wizards who helped me last time."

    "I'll look after it."

Amortha nodded, looked deeply at Amelia before turning and walking away in the direction of the sun.
