In a collapse of heaven and earth, the ceiling of the laboratory collapsed, and the four walls of the room also split apart under the huge impact force. The smoke spread on both sides along the narrow corridor. Everything in the vision was misty and blurred.
Jiasana fell to the ground, her pale face sprinkled with sharp stones from the edge of the ground, cutting bloody marks on her beautiful face and jade-like arms.
We must leave here and send a message to our father!
The idea has been lingering in Jiasana's heart since she saw Amostah Brein appear here. She knew that things had reached a point of no return.
The anti-shadow transit spell that had been casting over this place had been broken by Amostah's magic. As Jiasana was preparing to use the shadow transit to leave this base, which had cost her countless efforts over half a century, a golden light spear rolled out of the swirling smoke and dust, piercing into the ground beneath her feet with a clinking sound!
Before Jiasana could react, the flame spear transformed quickly, and a row of fiery lines extended from the spear's handle. In just one blink, a fiery cage had already trapped her.
"Stay there and don't move."
A cold, commanding voice from Amostah echoed through the murky smoke.
The black mist and smoke scattered by the attack had yet to re-coalesce, but the commotion had already attracted attention. Within the buried base, an eerie alarm was suddenly heard, and many people rushed in from all directions.
Amostah's expression remained calm as he looked around, taking in the general situation within the base. He then raised his staff, and flames surged out like a golden river from the tip!
Boom!
Under the control as smooth as moving an arm, the golden fire pillar easily drilled through layer by layer of floor, piercing through rock layers and moist soil to reach the ground above. Soon, torrents of flame soared into the sky and transformed into a gigantic, breathtaking spider web that enveloped the ground. The scorching light bathed the night in brightness comparable to daylight. Even from Berlin, it was visible!
At the same time, a portion of the flame separated from the torrent transformed into finer 'flame threads'. These threads did not cause widespread destruction throughout the vast base but quietly merged into the lowest level and quickly coiled around the surfaces of the buildings, eventually forming a flame cocoon that surrounded the base.
The base's wizards, who were passing through the fireplace, suddenly discovered that the Floating Path had lost its effectiveness. As people from the outside were racing towards here, wizards who were trapped in the Floating Path's magical network suddenly lost their target coordinates and were 'thrown' out of nowhere.
"Let's move, find a new location."
The corridor was still collapsing, and the terrain here was not suitable for fighting. Amostah grabbed Louise's wrist, waved his staff to disperse the smoke, and his body suddenly turned into a shadow. In a blink of an eye, he had emerged from the corridor and appeared in the great hall.
Numerous corridors within the tall rock walls were continuously emerging with wizards, all heading towards the exit. There was only one entrance spewing smoke and dust.
"What's happening? Did an experiment go wrong?"
The wizards gathered in the great hall were still unclear about what had happened. They looked up with furrowed brows, watching the entrance that was billowing smoke and echoing with fierce roars, and began to discuss among themselves.
The base, which was usually solemn and silent, had rarely experienced such chaos. As a result, the wizards here did not realize the danger was right in front of them. Amostah Brein was standing right next to them.
Louise looked confused, and the events that had just unfolded were too intense for her. Amostah did not immediately react, but instead turned to look at the large fresco on the front of the great hall, which depicted a castle.
"Aah!"
"What are you doing, Esquire!"
Suddenly, from the corridor that was billowing smoke, came a roar filled with terror and anger. It was the wizards who had gone to investigate the situation despite the danger.
"Is that madman out of control?!"
A wizard standing next to Amostah muttered in a daze,
"No, I have to leave this place—"
The crisis-aware wizard rushed through the crowd, heading towards the fireplace. When he discovered that the fireplace had stopped working for unknown reasons, he cursed, spat, and then ran towards the exit of the great hall.
Huh--
A fierce gale appeared, accompanied by the roar of a fire dragon, echoing from the corridor. A large cloud of grey dust surged out, enveloping the great hall, and following the dust came Esquire's transformed black sand storm.
Compared to just then, the black sand storm had become much stronger. The center of the constantly spinning storm emitted a faint red halo, representing anger.
"Amostah Brein!!!"
Countless black sand grains vibrated at an extremely high frequency, emitting an incredibly sharp scream.
The base wizards in the great hall instantly displayed a variety of expressions, Amostah Brein. He was here in the base?
Only a few felt terror and panic, but some, upon hearing the name, showed coldness or anger, or even eagerness.
In mid-air, Esquire discovered Amostah among the crowd. A black torrent containing evil magic soared towards Amostah again and again like a cascade of heaven's water, but it was dispersed again by Amostah with his wand.
Roar, Roar, Roar!
The power of the black sand storm seemed boundless. When it regrouped after being dispersed, it expanded even further. It charged at Amostah Breen without fear of death, time and again, only to be obliterated in silver-green flashes each time.
"Defeat Breen!"
The clever wizard who had previously fled the base returned to the great hall, his voice filled with anger as he shouted. "Breen has sealed off the base with deadly fire. The German Ministry of Magic is already outside. We can only leave by defeating him!"
A roar!
The crowd was in uproar. The base wizards, who had been watching the duel, finally no longer hesitated. They surrounded Amostah and Louise in a group.
With hundreds of wands pointing at him, Amostah couldn't afford to take things lightly. His pupils began to spin again, the purple in his eyes fading, and fine sparks of lightning occasionally passing through them.
"Close your eyes," Amostah said softly.
"What?" Louise was surprised to ask.
Louise didn't get an answer. The war had already begun...
The brilliant light in front of Louisa made her think for a moment that she had fallen into the sun. The light, containing magic that could shake the space, obscured her vision and caused her to emit a painful scream.
Everything that had happened at the lakefront appeared again, and the magical light disappeared at a certain distance from Amostah, as if it had been decomposed and its magic returned to nature.
But unlike before, Amostah didn't just stand there waiting for the attack to end this time. He raised his wand and the ground shook violently. Sharp spikes sprouted from the ground, starting near and extending further away. In a blink of an eye, dozens of wizards lay dead on the scene, their bodies hanging on the sharp spikes and swaying helplessly.
This wave of highly efficient clearance did not shake the remaining wizards; instead, it ignited their anger. These wizards with excellent magical skills one after another waved their wands and used various methods to leave the ground to avoid being killed by the spikes again, and then struck with deadly force!
Curse for life, spear-hearted curse, corrosive curse, and deadly fire curse.
Dangerous and brilliant firelight continued to bombard the invisible barrier around Amostah, the thunderous sound like that of a summer storm.
Under these powerful attacks, the wonderful invisible barrier around Amostah began to hold on by a thread, the clear space being compressed inch by inch. And finally, the fierce storm of attacks made Amostah take it seriously. He waved his staff continuously, and layer after layer of defensive magic appeared.
Surrounding Amostah and Louise, the outermost space suddenly displayed eight twisting silver-blue vortices, still slowly spinning to consume incoming curses and grow stronger themselves.
Behind the vortices were several metal shields that constantly appeared in different locations, all displaying a brilliant white-gold color. These physical shields collided with the rain-like attacks, producing a continuous sound of heavy thudding.
Amostah released Louise's hand and began to wave his staff broadly.
The golden python, as massive as the world, let out a deafening roar. Its tail coiled around the ground, protecting Amostah with a fierce expression, and opened its mouth wide, spraying fire columns towards all directions. The terrifying beast summoned by the wizards guarding this base turned to nothingness under the golden flames. However, the python did not show any signs of being annihilated.
Innumerable spells of light hit the fire python, causing intense ripples that made the python roar repeatedly!
