Amortus and Astroblade were floating on the vast Azure Sea surface. The scenery was vast and open, with nothing but a distant, lone island visible in the distance. Suddenly, a voice echoed from the void behind them, almost embedded in Amortus' soul!
"Who is it!"
Sirius Black supported Amortus with one hand while pointing his wand towards the direction of the voice, his grey eyes filled with caution.
The apocalyptic scenery that had been previously witnessed had fully made Sirius Black realize his own weakness. With Amortus currently weakened and powerless, Sirius Black dare not take the slightest precaution.
The empty space was filled with the bow, deck, sail, cabin, stern. From the vague faintness, it slowly emerged.
This ship seems to have also undergone some kind of disaster.
The huge ship was covered in scars, and many places had charred cracks. One can see that these are the result of lightning strikes.
The towering bow of the ship was occupied by a middle-aged man with fiery red hair and a broad face. His whole body, including his hair, was soaked. He stood one foot on the railing of the ship, gazing towards Azkaban, laughing heartily.
Amortus lifted his head and deeply gazed at the wizard who disregarded him, his lips tightly closed.
Godric Gryffindor - One of the four founders of Hogwarts, the first headmaster of Gryffindor House, and the Godric Gryffindor who has maintained his legendary reputation for a thousand years. He appeared before them again!
Compared to the last time on the Isle of Avalon, there were fewer scars on Godric Gryffindor's face, and he appeared much younger. In fact, he didn't seem much older than Amortus.
Amortus looked at the sword on Godric Gryffindor's waist. It was not the one in Dumbledore's office, but the one he had obtained from the Isle of Avalon.
The various obvious details made it clear to Amortus that this time, the Godric Gryffindor who had suddenly appeared before him had not yet set foot on the Isle of Avalon a thousand years ago.
What's going on? Another trace of soul power?
Amortus squinted his eyes, staring intently at Godric Gryffindor's face, trying to see through the adventurous and particularly excited-looking Godric Gryffindor whether he was pretending emotions.
"That, that..."
Sirius Black and Amortus were both focused on the middle-aged wizard standing at the bow of the boat. As the sea ship slowly approached them, Sirius Black's wand in his hand gradually lowered, but the arc of his eye socket and mouth increasingly exaggerated. The horror made his expression distorted!
"I didn't miss it. I mean, that's."
Sirius Black's body was trembling violently. His face was flushed, his muttering voice was stammering, and the hand that was gripping Amortus' arm was tightening even more.
"Amortus, am I dreaming?"
Sirius Black finally blurted out a half-finished sentence. He struggled to shift his incredulous gaze to Amortus' face and quickly asked.
"I and you see the same, Sirius, so, you should not be dreaming—"
Amortus tightly clenched his lips and whispered softly.
"Huh——"
Sirius Black was gasping heavily.
"But this. But how is it possible? This person, if I didn't mistake, he is."
Sirius Black's face was flushed, and he stared fixedly at the middle-aged wizard's face. Of course, he also noticed the sword on the wizard's waist. A wizard wearing a robe without a wand but with a sword at his side, placed anyone else in that position, Sirius Black would laugh his heart out. But placed on this person, he could not find any fault.
"I must be dreaming!"
Sirius Black said decisively, but then he broke down in a passionate roar, trembling and pointing to that person.
"That's Gryffindor, Godric Gryffindor!"
Sirius Black, now a middle-aged man, his eyes glistening with tears. He acted just like the girls in the class last year who saw Gilderoy Lockhart when Amortus first taught Defense Against the Dark Arts.
"What would James say if he saw him?"
Sirius Black's lips trembled, he suddenly let go of Amortus' arm, jumped up and waved his hands, trying to catch the wizard's attention at the bow of the ship.
"Hey, the great Godric Gryffindor, I'm Sirius Black! I'm a graduate of the school you founded, I'm a wizard of Gryffindor House!"
Gryffindor was still excitedly gazing at the distant Azkaban island, ignoring the stunned Sirius Black on the sea surface.
"Don't waste your effort."
With the loss of Sirius Black's assistance, Amortus, who was weak enough to not even be able to stand, sat on the turbulent sea surface, weakly saying,
"Can't you see? He can't see us at all."
"Can't see."
Sirius Black blankly looked at Amortus, then a few more times at Gryffindor, before his expression turned wistful.
"Can't see, but have we not traveled through time? What's going on, Amortus, is this Gryffindor an illusion?"
What kind of power could allow us to cross a thousand years of time?
Amortus said in a bad mood, he struggled to stand up, pulling on Sirius Black's pants. When his gaze fell on this wizard who caused him endless confusion again, Amortus' expression was complex.
"Illusion. Perhaps, I'm not sure either, but there's no doubt that what we should do most urgently now is to board this ship."
"We haven't been invited, Amortus, isn't this a bit rude?"
Sirius Black hesitated, saying, "He has always been unable to shake off the impact this person has had on him."
But isn't that normal? The wizard who graduated from Gryffindor House doesn't have a great respect for Godric Gryffindor? Sirius Black could be sure that if James had the chance, he would be excited enough to faint, and Remus would react similarly!
Finally, under Amortus' repeated insistence, Sirius Black reluctantly boarded the ship with him.
Sirius Black dared not get close to Gryffindor, let alone look at him. It seemed that he thought it would be an insult to the wizard in front of him. Only when he finally noticed the flag hanging by the door of the cabin did Sirius Black excitedly shout at Amortus, who was busy restoring his strength by drinking potions.
"The lion's flag, the flag of Gryffindor, no mistake, Amortus, this is Godric Gryffindor. Wow, I got my money's worth this time!"
Sirius Black was so excited that he didn't notice that Amortus was calm in an unusual way, nor did he notice that there was another flag hanging on the other side of the cabin door, a flag with a deep blue background and bronze edging.
Suddenly, the Gryffindor at the bow turned to face the direction of Sirius Black and Amortus, which directly caused Sirius Black's body to stiffen like he had been hit with the Stun Spell, and he couldn't even speak a word in excitement.
Gryffindor looked towards the cabin, his smile causing the rugged features of his broad face to soften slightly, adding a touch of tenderness to his smile.
"Just change your clothes, Royina, you can do it with a flick of your fingers, but you've taken so long. See that island? We've finally found the right place!"
Amortus' eyebrows flickered slightly, his gaze directed towards the cabin door.
In the dimly lit cabin, the outline of a figure became gradually clear, and it stepped forward towards the light one step at a time.
And as the bright blue light reflected the face of the newcomer, on deck, Sirius Black drew a sharp breath, while even Amortus felt his heart beating faster in his chest, and his eyes became glazed!
Roana Ravenclaw!
The office of the head of Ravenclaw House has always hung an image of this equally legendary female wizard. It is a woman with a refined beauty, tinged with a bit of melancholy, but who is not famous for her appearance. People tend to praise Roana Ravenclaw more when discussing her than her appearance.
Today, when they saw her, Sirius Black and Amortus couldn't help but feel a sense of awe in their hearts - people should not ignore Roana Ravenclaw's appearance.
Roana Ravenclaw who appeared before them seemed a bit younger than Godric, around the age of twenty or so. Of course, these are just assumptions. Powerful magic has a certain effect of slowing down aging, and no one can confirm what stage each of the two giants from Hogwarts is at in their lives.
Let's not mention the comforting appearance of Roana. The pair of ice-blue eyes embedded in her perfect face seem to hold an endless amount of wisdom. Even if the person in front of them is an illusion, when their gaze touches, Amortus felt a soul-sucking sensation in his heart.
In a vintage blue robe, Roana walked out of the cabin, unadorned, except for the crown of wisdom that shone brightly in the sunlight and brought her fame. The ethereal aura surrounding her made her look like a goddess who had descended from heaven to the earth.
Sirius Black tottered and fell to one side, subconsciously avoiding Roana Ravenclaw as she approached Godric. Even though Amortus had said that what they were seeing was not a real person.
"We are humans first and wizards second, Godric. The power of magic should not be abused, or we will one day forget ourselves--"
