"An enigmatic creature from the East—the flying snake?"

Professor McGonagall seems to be choked, gasping for air as she says:

"The protector of magical creatures, Albus, I've never seen anyone else like you before!"

    "Indeed, it is very rare."

"Growing increasingly uncomfortable, Dumbledore looked upon the overwhelmingly white and oppressive python, speaking with a furrowed brow: "

"But not unprecedented, in fact, what surprised me is that this guardian's size... there has never been any records related to it, a wizard's guardian can be so huge in size."

"Could it be related to the magic, Albus?"

Professor Flitwick spoke out his opinion in a shrill voice.

    "It's unlikely to happen--"

    Dumbledore said gravely.

"We all know that the charm to defend against soul-sucking creatures, which cannot be destroyed, is the only spell that wizards can master. Its power comes from our most positive emotions, in other words, the power of this spell lies in our soul."

"So Amortentia has a particularly strong soul power?"

In the realm of spells, Professor Flitwick is always full of passion, eagerly pursuing his questions.

This time, however, Dumbledore did not respond to his questions. From the serious expression on his face, it seemed that he did not agree with this view.

While Dumbledore and several deans were discussing the astonishing guardian on the high bar, Amortentia was equally shocked.

Yes, that's right, he indeed intended to call upon his guardian to drive away these out-of-control Dementors, but the behemoth before him...

Along with Amortentia, everyone on the Quidditch field, including Dumbledore, was puzzled. But it was not only wizards who were confused. Floating in the air, with their ghostly shapes resembling those of Death Eaters, the vague minds of Dementors were equally puzzled. They floated before the massive serpentine head of the guardian that had stepped out of a tale of ancient legend, unable to understand why they were not afraid of this guardian who seemed to be extraordinarily powerful...

Even more so, there was a hint of intimacy!

At this moment, the serpent that was almost as tall as the main tower of Hogwarts flapped its luminous wings autonomously. In Amortentia's focused gaze, one of the silver wings suddenly stained with a tinge of black, like a drop of ink dripped into clear water, completely dyed the wing within just a few breaths. Thus, the guardian with an enormous python-like back carried wings that were one black and one white, exceptionally eerie!

    Zzzz!

A faint wave spread out from the black wing at once, and the Dementors that had been hit by the energy all appeared on either side of the black wing, as if attracted by a sweet scent, just like bees to honey.

    "The Dementors--"

Some of the little wizards in the center seemed to be dazed and muttering,

    "Can Professor Bran control them?"

The crowd became agitated, and many people exchanged uneasy glances, fearing this terrible guess.

    Control the Dementors?

If the magical community were to vote for the most feared creature, there would be no doubt that the ruthless guards of Azkaban, the Dementors who can extract wizards' happy memories and magical power, turning them into soulless shells, would win by a landslide.

It's like a snake-tongue, able to control such terrifying creatures. It's not a skill that any decent wizard could possess.

The whispered voices of the little wizards reached the ears of the faculty members in the central area of the stands, making their expressions look even more difficult.

    "What do you think, Albus?"

Professor McGonagall furrowed her brow and asked seriously.

"I don't see what's wrong with it, Minerva!"

Before Dumbledore could respond, Snape rudely cut off the question, speaking roughly.

"Ametentia has an unparalleled talent in spell-crafting. Perhaps he just made some alterations to the spell of protection."

    "A reasonable guess, Severus--"

Dumbledore gathered his aged features, regained his composure, and directed his sharp gaze towards Amortentia standing on the high bar. After thinking for a moment, he walked down the platform and came to the pitch below.

    Boom!

With a rumble, the ground suddenly trembled. In the astonished eyes of the little wizards, the ground split open and sprouted a massive stone column, which bore Dumbledore up into the air to stand next to Amortentia.

Dumbledore had thought that everything was under Amortentia's control, but when he first saw the worried expression on Amortentia's gray hair and chaotic appearance, Dumbledore knew that his guess was wrong.

"Was there such a situation before, Amortentia?"

Something of such immense size always exudes an extraordinary sense of awe. Even Albus Dumbledore, such a wizard, could not help but feel his heart sway in awe when observing this guardian towering above the sky from close range. After reluctantly looking away, Dumbledore asked Amortentia softly with eyes fixed on his gaze.

    "No, Professor Dumbledore--"

    Amortentia shook his head,

"I have mastered the Guardian Charm for some years now, and I used it against the Voldmort Moths in Papua New Guinea. At that time, there was nothing unusual about it, just the usual size of a guardian. This is the first time I've used it against Dementors... What are your thoughts on this?"

With this unprecedented magical phenomenon, Dumbledore could not make a hasty conclusion either. His brilliant blue eyes fell once again on the charred wing of the serpent, "A saintly rank, holding a unique perspective beyond anyone else, Dumbledore suppressed the unsettling thoughts churning within him and continued to speak softly,"

"It's hard to say, Amortentia... What I'm concerned about is, can you still control your guardian now?"

Amortentia narrowed his eyes and sensed it, making sure that he had no problem controlling his guardian. Then, he slowly nodded,

    "It's the same as before."

Upon hearing that the serpent had not lost control of its guardian, Dumbledore's expression seemed to lighten. If Amortentia had truly lost control of his guardian, allowing this massive creature to rampage through Hogwarts, to be honest, Dumbledore really couldn't find any place in the sky that could contain it.

    "Since it's like that,"

Dumbledore glanced at the increasingly agitated little wizards, and the anger aroused by the Dementors was gradually replaced by concerns about Amortentia. After a sigh, he said.

"Then let's make it disappear first, Amortentia. I'm worried it will scare the children."

    "That's it for now."

Amortentia flicked his wand, although his guardian couldn't appear in the form of Gryffindor as Granthof did, but such a huge creature that moved immediately produced a sense of terror that the world would collapse.

Many little wizards screamed and turned to run, with some of the more timid ones even becoming paralyzed on the ground, unable to move.

The towering serpent's body rapidly contracted, surrounding the Dementors in a tight embrace. After a brilliant flash of light, the terrifying python disappeared, and Amortentia had added a black, cold glass bottle to his hand.

"Each Dementor is registered in the Ministry of Magic--"

Seeing this, Dumbledore spoke helplessly, "

"They won't let such a creature be in the hands of a private individual, Amortentia."

"Let the Minister of Magic come to me personally, Dumbledore."

Amortentia said coldly, his mood foul.
