    "Golden Viper!"

Alyosha's younger sister, Nifadora Tonks, changed her face quickly. Her bold brows trembled and her eyes widened as she stared at the night sky, which was empty except for a single bright moon. She breathed heavily and hurriedly.

"Is it the black witch who defeated a large number of werewolves and almost killed Greyback in the underworld?"

The golden viper almost twisted his nose, hovering in the air. If he had not signed a contract when accepting the task that no one in this temporary team could strike each other, he might have given Tanatos a severe blow!

This fool, is he afraid that he won't be noticed by the Ministry of Magic?

    "Shut your mouth, fool!"

A residual shadow slashed past, and the Golden Viper descended from mid-air to the ground like a falcon in pursuit. He roared at Tannatosis, who was still screaming for help, before cold, harsh eyes swept over the crowd of Aurors. Only for a brief moment did they linger on Tonks' face before warping magic vortex reflected a smile unnoticed by all.

Alyosha is two years senior to Tonks, and this cheerful girl was already very popular with the boys during her school days. She was a natural occulter, able to change her appearance effortlessly. Such a pleasure... cough cough, such a talent, is rare and fascinating!

In fact, she was particularly fond of imitating her professors' faces during her school days. Because of this, she was locked up by several professors, including Snape. Alyosha spent some time with her during the last semester of fifth grade, but they were not exactly friends; they were just acquaintances.

However, since Alyosha graduated from Hogwarts, she hasn't been in contact with any of her fellow students.

Including Skellings, everyone who was swept by the Golden Viper's gaze felt as though they had been drenched with a bucket of cold water from head to toe, the chill seeping into their very souls. The majority of the Aurors present were experienced veterans who had countless times faced life-and-death situations. Their intuition for danger far exceeded that of ordinary wizards. They could all sense that the mysterious wizard before them was even more powerful than the scum they had just defeated together!

    "I can't breathe...)"

Tonks' eyes widened in terror, her forehead glistening with sweat. She discreetly patted her chest and whispered,

"Hurry... go to Hogwarts and fetch Albus Dumbledore!"

    "Shut up, Tonks!"

Skellings, who prided himself on his strength, shot a fierce glance at Tonks. He met the Golden Viper's calm gaze with a stern look, but inside his mind, a storm of thoughts swept by. He had to admit that he had overestimated this operation. He hadn't expected such dangerous individuals among the smugglers!

"Could you all pretend we didn't meet tonight?"

From the twisted vortex came a grizzled, hoarse voice that sounded polite but everyone knew it was masked by magic.

There were many Aurors present, but only one had the authority to make decisions, and Rufus knew that the Golden Viper's words were directed at him. He was also very aware that if he gave a negative response, the black witch who had repeatedly fought with the brutal werewolves, who had confronted Greyback and his dozens of wolves, and who had almost annihilated them, would not continue to make polite requests.

Tunnel to the underworld is a headache for every Ministry of Magic team.

On the one hand, the wizards who operate there are mostly faction wizards. Although Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been the main base for magical education for hundreds of years, the history of these faction wizards is even more ancient, dating back to the time before Merlin and the Kingdom of Camelot.

Wizards hold traditions in high regard. If the Ministry of Magic decides to annihilate the wizards in the underworld, they are likely to receive very limited support. Moreover, a significant portion of the existing sacred twenty-eight clans in the magical world have intricate connections with the forces in the underworld, which would also pose considerable resistance.

Another important point is that, although the Department of Magical Law Enforcement has been secretly collecting information on active wizards in the underworld for many years and has indeed dealt with some "small fry," they have yet to find a way to deal with some powerful individuals.

For instance, Greyback's heinous crimes are countless, but over the years, the Ministry of Magic has been unable to capture him, let alone this fierce character who almost "wiped out" the werewolves—the Golden Viper!

"The Ministry of Magic will not bow down to evil."

Skellings' face was stern, his sharp yellow eyes glowing with a faint red. He raised his wand and spoke coldly.

    "Leave this--"

Gryffindor discreetly tugged at Tonks' robe and said without a hint of alarm.

"Go to the Ministry for support or, as you said, go to Hogwarts to ask Dumbledore for help. Hurry as much as possible, Tonks. We can't guarantee how long we can hold out--"

Before Tonks could respond, the Golden Viper's hoarse voice had already carried over.

    "I apologize, gentlemen--"

    "Attack!"

Skellings suddenly bellowed, and in an instant, the light spells bursting from the wands of the Aurors were as bright as fireworks, illuminating the night sky with a brightness comparable to day.

In the anxious air, there was a silver flash, whose brief and chilling brilliance easily overshadowed the colorful spells. The sharp, piercing hum that could pierce the eardrums caused the space to tremble violently!

The battle ended quickly, and can even be said to have concluded in an instant.

Tannatosis watched as the fallen Aurors, with blood leaking from their ears and noses, silently opened his mouth.

Alyosha walked among the fallen Aurors, waving his wand and releasing a stream of sparkling silver mist. These misty vapor between reality and fantasy entered the Aurors' temples from their forehead.

"What are you doing, Golden Viper... I think it would be best if we didn't kill them. That would bring us... "

"I'm dealing with the trouble you idiot has caused me!"

The Golden Viper, who was carefully weaving memories, turned his cold gaze on Tannatosis.

Tannatosis seemed to want to defend himself, but considering the strength of the Golden Viper, he said nothing. He nervously craned his neck and looked down at the scattered bone fragments of the giant dragon, cursing continuously as he clenched his fists in frustration.

The rest of the companions were soon awakened, and with Tannatosis' explanation, they all understood who had saved them from prison.

"Everyone needs to pay me a quarter of the profits from this mission as a reward, and you, Tannatosis, you need to hand over five-tenths."

The Golden Viper's calm words about the share of profits stirred up great dissatisfaction among his partners. They loudly protested against his domineering behavior, but only Tannatosis remained silent. It wasn't because he was a person who kept his promises, but rather because witnessing the Golden Viper's decisive victory over the Aurors, he thought it would be better not to provoke this dangerous individual any further.

"Even if we don't give, you can't do anything to us, Golden Viper. You can't lay a hand on us; it would be breaking the contract!"

Among the angry crowd, there was a smart guy who angrily shouted, and his words also reminded others.

"Nobody asked you to save us, Golden Viper. You are being too presumptuous!"

Someone else said coldly, a sarcastic smile in their voice.

For this scene, the Golden Viper was not surprised. He had never been naive enough to expect gratitude from these people with no limits.

"I really cannot lay a hand on you--"

The Golden Viper cast a magical protective shield that glowed with white light, encasing everyone within it, while he himself stood outside the shield.

With a disdainful laugh, the Golden Viper said lightly,

"But I can wake up these Aurors. I think they would be pleased to see you voluntarily surrender..."
